Man i get what u r saying. I had to solder sooo many joints and didnt know how i coulda done that. Oh maybe when i layed the wire out i coulda melted the insulation with the solder tip and then soldered the joint. Duuuhh!! Im dumb haha lol liquid tape.. Hmm good looking out! Ill look into that! I have done some modifications since that photo which is 6 months oldI get you're only runninf 12v, but exposed wire? There is a product called liquid tape, but were it me I would have left the insulation on....just my 02.
With that list you can put together an all around effecient grow light. Best part is the connections are poke in.. How easy? That driver will definitely work and is in between the voltage ramge when connected in seriesYes dude. Thats a good list!
Awesome, thanks buddyWith that list you can put together an all around effecient grow light. Best part is the connections are poke in.. How easy? That driver will definitely work and is in between the voltage ramge when connected in series
Much love brotha! Thank you! Yes 3 hours! Ive been getting better at it lol so proud of my cheap budget lights. Definetly putting them to the test. I am very proud of my grow as well as humbled@Rolla J shit man, that's impressive! 3 hours? Would take me 3 days to build!
Awesome for the price too! Congrats man, you should be proud of your build.
When I did something similar, just used a razor balde to skin a small section, thing about hind site......Man i get what u r saying. Here you go. See page 4 for the parts list, but I really recommend you read the whole thread:Thanks I messaged him
Kingbrite on Alibaba.Where can I get those parts. Michigan here
I can manage $250 to build a light and I still have 2000 watts of Chinese led to supplementHere you go. See page 4 for the parts list, but I really recommend you read the whole thread:

I *think* the retail cost of this build is about as low as you'll find for the intensity and quality, and that said, at $250 it covers a 2' x 4' SCROG very nicely. You'll have to lower your expectations significantly to meet your expenditure goal.
Dont think the temps are a problem on the light. It runs pretty cool.if u r saying 100°c im thinking more like 100°fWhen I did something similar, just used a razor balde to skin a small section, thing about hind site......
Its 20/20.
A note about liquid tape tho usually has benzene or xylene, and does not handle high temps well (like above 100 C i think).
I may have been mistaken; is your grow area 4x4 or 2x2? If the latter, then you're golden. Should be able to do this for ~$125.I can manage $250 to build a light and I still have 2000 watts of Chinese led to supplement
Boomtown! Those r some great prices for a quality light! Id run with that!I may be mistaken; is your grow area 4x4 or 2x2? If the latter, then you're golden. Should be able to do this for ~$125.
Well, I'm off by ~$50 due to lower inefficiencies of low qty ordering, but here you go. I just changed the 1120mm strips to 570 mm and halved the qty of angle-Al and drivers. Prices may need to be updated, but this gets you pretty close. You may prefer a different CCT but to me, the spectrum of the 4000's seems to be better for both veg and flower.I may have been mistaken; is your grow area 4x4 or 2x2? if "ghosting" means missing an email im guilty i guess. i try to respond to all but sometimes things get missedCost way more than that from him and after asking him to put a list of parts for me together at my $150 budget he ghosted me for two weeks now. Don't think he likes helping the small guy trying to treat a tumor and wife with seizures and 3 spinal surgeries. Two times he ignored my request for parts needed to build the best light I could for my budget.
Thank you I'll be ordering later this week. What footprint should I expect from this lightif "ghosting" means missing an email im guilty i guess. i try to respond to all but sometimes things get missed
it certainly has nothing to do with the size of the order or anybody's condition or lack thereof. Small DIYers are my bread and butter so im not skipping homegrowers for warehouse gigs or anything
this is about $175 after RIU discount and shipping
