got some young ones c'mon up. just want some good input on these lights and your thoughts? i wont get any other lights(low budget. Led was $110,cfl was $49) so just some opinions on these ones. Cheers guys

6400k cfl can keep seedlings nice and short. You can place the bulb within inches of the top of the plant or put a few of them around the pot.

cool hydokid thanks mate i did put the led in there 1st and fried my clones ,it was just that themps were better with the led.i put the cfl in a couplee days ago and seems hotter but isnt frying them and seem to be better.just wanted some input from other growers and you guys are spot on thanks team

You can add a seedling heat mat to the mix to help with temp worries. I’d get one with a thermostat tho.

my cfl blew again 3rd time brand new the led is burning my clones but not seedlings.they look horrendous.

It's not an assumption. We had it down graded in the late 90s from class B to class C, this basically decriminalised it. After much lobbying the antis had it put back up again.

We are switching it for vaping, a 50g pouch of tobacco is over 100NZD now. In comparison it costs about 30NZD a week/fortnight to vape.

Not a fan of either but I'd take vaping over seeing peoples butts on the ground. Can't stand seeing people flick'em out their car windows when they are driving especially in the country where wildfires are a risk!
