Hugely subjective question. I’ve had really tasty organic living soil grown weed and equally as tasty hydro buds myself. Everyone’s opinions gonna be different though.
I greatly believe that getting great tasting weed is about a combination of a few things. First you need to have decent genetics. Some genetics even from the same pack of seeds will not perform the same and so finding a really nice and smelly/tasty one can take time.
Secondly you need to learn to grow the plants properly in a good environment. Don’t over feed them, it won’t make the buds bigger. The best tasting weed comes from healthy plants that are grown to FULL MATURITY.
Last but sooo far from least, you need to give those nice ripe buds a proper slow dry, and cure. It should take atleast 7-10 days to dry the buds, and longer is better. Once you learn to dry and cure you will find the best flavors your weed has shining through for you.
