Which pot size

Hey guys so my seedlings are soon to be replanted. Iv been told it's better to not transplant to different container sizes too much. So the plan is to grow it big enough until I plant it in the ground which pot should I put it in as the pot before the ground?

If you're not retarded when it comes to transplanting, you can do it alot, esp with photoperiods. But you shouldn't need to more than 2-3 times honestly
 
Ok sweet so should i just use the biggest pot? Because it will then be one transplant into the big pot, and then from the biggest pot into the ground
 
You didnt say if you're growing Auto's or photoperiods..?
Autos..will stunt, you're not supposed to transplant ..result smaller plant.
Photo's ..go to town..just keep in mind you delay the progress of the plant a few days each time you transplant and risk damage each time as well

Yeah they are photos, i want to reduce the amount of times transplanting, so im thinking of the big pot was just wondering if there were any other reasons why not to put it in that one
 
My experience with seedlings going into big pots is that the medium remains wet since there isn't enough plant to draw water from the soil- resulting in soggy roots and stunted growth or root rot. I normally plant my seedlings in a 8oz cup; after 4-6 weeks to a 1/2 gallon pot and after a final 4-6 weeks to a 7-10 gallon (or final size) container. Each time the root ball has formed nicely and filled the container so I can lift the entire plant & root ball without digging it out and the resulting trauma (best to transplant after medium in pot is fairly dry). I grow in Promix- using soil/coco/other mediums might not work with my practice.
 
Thanks for your advice man really appreciated! That confirmed that i should play it safe, i thought it would be a little dangerous to put such a small seedling in a massive pot. So i put them into a smaller pot, once that grows nice and big ill put it into its final pot which is the grey one. Then from there it goes into the ground. total re pots = 2 then ground. let go baby!!
 
Mine get transplanted a total of 3 times and I've never had any issues.... infact just the opposite. If you do it right they explode in growth after a transplant.
I go from 2 oz container to a solo cup. From there to a 5 gallon grow bag and then to 400 gallons boxes.
(This is If they are femmed seeds)
I go from a solo to a 1 gallon fabric pot and let them sit in that until they show their sex then transplant into a 5 gallon.

Some say it slows down growth... well that is because they are concentrating on new root growth for a few days more then plant growth.
