Which Strain is Best for Edibles?

Is there a "norm" strain that most folks make edibles out of?

I have seen alot of trainwreck used for edibles... but have a feeling this is based on popularity over anything?

I have used
Orange Crush-- rate it about a 7 so far my main crop + fav ed
GDP Orange Crush-- rate it about a 6 (sorry lovers of GDP) I was not impressed as an edible
blue dream 6 (better as a salve I am sure... too mediciny for me)
Snow cap... 4 sorry not my fav for medibles... ugh like eating vicks vapor rub!


what are you using the majority of the time and what have you used that were BAD?

Snow White by Nirvana makes excellent medicinal edibles...VERY relaxing!

For effectiveness, not to mention the cost, purple power has been my favorite for edibles. Green crack and MK ultra weren't very good IMO, even though they were stronger outside of edibles.

I have asked the same thing and never really got a answer. Also is there a diff for indica and sativa. I have used haze (nirvana and super lemon haze) and just mixed in some idica ( sweet tooth and bag seed) when making chocolates.

I get that this is an old post..good question though. Wife has been brownie making and she made butter out of Bubblegummer and grapefruit trim from FS. Mixed the two. Most awesome buzz. Pleasant up, happy.

wow... this was old.. I made a huge error in my post too.. I said blue dream was too mediciny.. lol I love that strain... and it's nothing like what I meant which was white widow...
