Which Strains Produce "ROCK-Hard-Nugs"?

the purple strains indica strains seem to be rock hard but smaller than sativas

critical hog, dense nugs, but needs long veg time as it doesnt really stretch in flowering.

Any help finding me a strain for sog that has large dense yields but doesnt require alot of veg time would be nice...it seems all the srains ive grown are either hard nugs but long vegging or fluffy bud with 1 week veg,, indicas dont stretch wile sativas do,,lookin for the best of both worlds. im trying dynamite right now it says 1 week veg 50 days flower..mine is 1/2 way into flower yet only 1 foot tall,,,i was expecting more..

My Blue Tara from Bodhi was vegged for maybe 2-3 weeks and is 3 feet tall with rock hard buds. It branches pretty well on it's own, I didn't train it at all it's my first run with the strain and I wanted to see it's tenancies. Even the lower pop corn is rock hard. It grew into my light and had to be super cropped eventually.
It's going to take at least 70-77 days to flower from seed though. But seems like it's going to provide me with a very respectable yield. It's hard to guess when I haven't grown the strain before but I would guess 2.5-3 oz. You can see pics in my journal. Should be able to find in my journal exactly how long I vegged em for. If not it's in the Bodhi thread if you're interested in digging
There's a pic of the Cola, you can kind of see the side buds behind it, they are growing like they were scrogged, all the side buds are virtually identical looking and super hard.
For hard buds look to indica's and kush/og varieties.

the nirvanas northern lights is stretchy and has big buds, 1 week veg, 8 weeks flower, but buds are not very dense like the critical hog.. a 2 foot critical hog produces the same weight as a 3and1/2 foot nl, but the critical hog needed to veg for 3-4 weeks and 8 weeks flower seems the nl wins out as time is money.thoughts anyone?

I've got some Girl Scout Cookies x G13/hp testers that I am positive will provide super hard nugs of awesomeness.

Remo the Urban Grower has worked Soma's Rock Bud into BC RockStar kush if I am not mistaken it gets reviewed pretty well too. If you can find his work it was pretty cheap last time I looked.

Honestly right place at the right time type deal. I obviously have to journal the results in exchange for the seeds but that's well worth it
I post pictures here anyways.I'm running a G13/hp X Snowlotus from him right now and it's looking like it's going to take north of 80 to finish. We'll see it's just starting to swell, also rock hard nugs, but not nearly as pretty as the Blue Tara.

Anybody ever grown a blue or purple strain that actually had color?? i lowered my room temp to 55 ferenheit , cooled my res water, and grew out, blue mystic, blue berry, purple bud,mellon gum, now dynamite,none have finished with any colors? i have blue dream and the purps, and ultimate purple and many more seeds that i havnt tried yet. if any of you have had an actual purple or cured blue plant what strain was it and from what seed company..i have patients who want some COLOR

Just finished chopping FRUITY CHRONIC JUICE - very nice Dense Buds!
@TheChemist77 I found COLOUR and plenty of it on my CARAMELO bushes... they look normal and then at the end turn light purple! But I suppose it really is the Cold that brings it out....

check out my sugarpunch in the sannies sugarpunch thread..the bud is very purple if you get the right pheno,i got two,one less purple that yeilded more,but they both are barney the dinosaur type buds..
i came to post about the rock buds,and get to drop sannies twice..lol,i was going to reccommend mad scientist x blue hammer.it was a freebie when i ordered the sugarpunch..its nugs are VERY dense at 4 weeks..pretty goid yeild and smell,very crystally,and the smoke isnt bad..
also,i have g-13s white lavander and thats new in my garden but dense..i was allready happy with their purple haze i got as a freebie,its ungodly crystal coated rock buds,and finishes quick to be a haze..looks very indica,but the buzz says other wise..it does also turn purple if vegged longer in cooler temps,and flowered under 68degrees..
