While I wait for White Widow to germ..

I thought I'd ask for some pointers.

Currently have:

2x2x4.5 grow tent
180w LED grow light
150w HPS
5 gallon tub
Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil
Handful of big CFL's

I am going to be droppin some White Widow soon and its been quite a while since my last grow.

I have much more space this time, no constraints.

I have the stuff mentioned above and would like some pointers on the SCROG method.

I know the basics and don't need to know all about it.

I put a picture up of the screen i just made - is this a good screen? Using unbleached string. I just want to know how high to have the plant stretch before i install and if i should close the gap on the holes in the screen at all.



Any pointers on anything would be appreciated!

Hey bdubz, I have mine about 7-8" above my plant. I measured from the base of my res., for you it would be from the top of your pot that you will be using for the final growth stages. Your screen looks fine, I built mine out of 2x4's I had in the garage and used yarn. The only down side of yarn is the little hairs that may get in the buds. But the pro's of it is it is really cheap, so when you need to cut it, it is cost efficient. I have a pic in my grow journal. As for the gap, I believe I did mine at 2" or 2.5 inches. I can't remember exactly but anywhere around there or in-between would be just fine.

To broad of a question! Profile pic is white widow...dwc 22 weeks..nute line genral hydro..bits of botanicare..pick ur poison..i use organcide in my res n foliage it untill 2 weeks before flower for pest control..preemptive measure.
