P3- 3.4 Oz's
P4- 4.1 Oz's
P5- 9.48 Oz's
Grower- Dr Gruber
Breeder- Greenthumb Seeds
Method- Drain to Waste
Media- Promix HP
Lighting-
T5 for germination and quick veg.
1000 Watt HPS for flower.
Time from germination to harvest-
Under 90 days for 4 out of 5 plants. (70-77)
The last plant went 97 days total.
Grow Notes- I should have transplanted them to their final pot sooner than I did. I estimate I lost about a week of growth and probably sacrificed some yield.
Also had a calcium deficiency that was hard to get in check. That probably lost me some quality in the final analysis.
Taste- Most had a hash like flavor that leaned to the floral side of things. The final one has a caramel like flavor that sits very well on the palate.
I've tasted this before in some of Doc's stuff but never in other folks genetics. I'm sure its out there but its not a common flavor by any means.
And, it's a nice flavor profile to add to my collection seeing as lots of stuff tastes the same these days.
Yield Comments-
The smallest of the plants were all the ones that had the most problems with calcium deficiencies so I suspect I could have had a better yield on those 3. The final one had some calcium deficiency but not as bad as the others. It showed.
And, as mentioned earlier, a properly timed transplant would have helped as well.
Plant comments- My first auto.
Super fast from seed to smoke and these plants could hold up to most non- autos in the potency and yield departments.
Definitely two phenotypes in this selection. Purple and green, with some sharing qualities of both.
Purple ones seemed to be less potent to some degree with more of a classic indica high.
Potency-
This ain't no 30% dispensary weed, but it gets you just as high in my opinion.
Definitely indica. Mostly body and very little head high.
Good for what ails you!
But, not over powering, leaving you in a stupor.
Final Notes-
This one is worth giving it another go and getting on the calcium deficiency right away and also transplanting them sooner.
I'd like to see if I can bring out the flavor more and bring the yield up as well.
Very nice plant!
