White dots on my dried buds

So my buds have been in containers for a few weeks now and last night I noticed some clusters of white dots. I'm pretty sure it's not mold or mildew but I guess it's possible. What else could it be? Is it still smokeable? I tried to get good pics but it was hard since the only camera I have is on my phone.

Yes, that third picture definitely looks like white mould.

It doesn't look too bad at the moment, and if you cut out the affected spots, the rest should still be OK to smoke (make sure you cut ALL of the white out... it will have tiny microscopic threads (mycelium) spreading for a fair distance from the stuff you can see).

I'd advise drying it out a bit more and getting some air circulation around the rest of your bud to stop it spreading any more.

With those photo's it is hard to tell-- could be mold- could be mites/mite damage, could be immature 'bananas' from a late-grow problem..... better clarity and bigger photo's would help... till then, IMO- do NOT smoke it!!!

Powdery Mildew = Type of Mold + can grow on buds or leaves it doesn't matter!

Bud rot usually starts on the inside but it wouldn't be white either...

Anything to argue about though> right?

The reason I started this thread is because I don't think it's powder mold and I'm looking for other possibilities. Before posting I did research and the only possibility I could find was mold. The pics don't show the problem well. The white spots aren't really white. They're closer to yellow and its only affecting a few buds in a container of a couple ounces. I've never heard of immature 'bananas' , what does that mean?

It looks white in the pics I provided and that's what I put in the subject of this thread, but it's closer to yellow. It's not powdery either.

I've looked at several pics online of powder and they don't look like what I got going on. The spots are more like balls then powder and they're closer to yellow in color. I can't find anything online that looks like it.

I can't really tell then if it's yellow...sure looks white to me!
Better pics are needed for sure to properly identify it.

I know it does look white it the pics. That's the best I can do with the camera on my phone. Is there anything else you know of besides mold that it could be? Thanks

It looks like mold to me. Personally I wouldn't smoke it. I know many people who would cut out the effected areas and smoke it anyways, but it is a risk. Please don't take that risk if you have a compromised immune system of any type.....it's not worth it.

Another reason why I don't feel it's mold is because it's damn near completely dried. It's been in a container for a few weeks but the container gets opened every day and I shake the buds around. I've been smoking it everyday. The stems don't snap, they still bend but if I leave a bud out over night then the stem will snap.

the first two shots look like naners or bleaching to me. but you would have seen that when harvesting. the third pic looks like mold to me.
not to be an ass but it doesnt look like youll be missing much if you trash that schwwag anyway ;)
