White fungus stuff water ?

Hi everyone, hope all is well.
was wondering if anyone seen this before in your Reservoir. Should i be worried?
I going flush and clean my Reservoir with H20. But curious to what this.

Yes in flower 4th week but nope, just bud candy and big bud, carb load.

What is the temperature of the water?

Temperature 60ish with lights on. Unfortunately i just noticed some bud rotten, Dont know if it due to the slime stuff.

Air stones in rezs can create all types of issues,most nutrient labels will say not to have one in the Rez. So remove that an also bud candy and carbo load are similar in that they are sugar products, use one or the other.

Oh didnt know airstone would do that. Would a recirculating pump be better in the Reservoir?

Yes but you dont need either. Give a quick stir before feeding, done.

No airstone in the rez sounds like a quick way to get root rot. Carbs are for feeding beneficial bacteria and don't help your plants grow on their own. Seen lots of peeps have serious issues using any carbs in their hydro grows.

Need oxygen in your rez or anaerobic bacteria will take over and wipe you out in a day or two.

I've done 40+ DWC grows and always have 2 - 12" airstones going 24/7 in each tub. I use a DIY chiller to keep temps around 65F so never use peroxide or beneficials in my grows. I use Big Bud and Rhino Skin. The Rhino I start using when my cuttings have rooted. Other than low doses of CalMag and some Epsom salts that's it.

To feed the bennies in my soil/soilless grown plants I give them some un-sulfered blackstrap molasses every couple of feedings but would never add it to my DWC grown plants.

Toss the carbs and use some Bud Factor X to plump up the colas if the Big Bud isn't enough.
