a 1000w will not cover a 6x6. Gavitas will only cover that much with multiple lights over lapping. Those have to be 4 feet away from the canopy . An se 1000w covers a 4x4. My plant is taking up a 4x4.

He can keep vegging his plants til they take up that much space.

A single 600w costs me about $35-$38 a month @ 18 hours a day. It depends on my rate price.
Fans add a few bucks but nothing huge. AC is a whole different story but most of the time I don't need it.

Yes veg longer and set up cages or stakes. I veg my plants anywhere from 2 - 4 months. The amount of branches or tops also depends on your pot size. you may want transplant into 10 or 15 gals a couple weeks before flowering.

your electric bill depends on your kwh rate.

My 1000w Large 6" Air cooled vent with a Hortilux bulb covers my 6x6 perfect..

No it's only has an efficieny of 30 - 35% so that's about 180 watts of light and 420 watts of heat. my cob panel. produces more ppfd than a 600w hps. my 315 cmh produce more light than a 600w hps too.

have you taken a par meter and measured the light at the edges. it will cover that space. but not efficiently. You're probably hitting about 1500 umole/s at the center but probably less than 100 umole/s at the edges and I bet you have to rotate your plants alot to give them equal amounts light.

you want about at leads 7 times that at the edges

I yield more off 2 18 gals than I do off 12 5 gals. the 5 gals I get 2 zips per plant. the 18 gals I get 12 -16 zips per plant . If you run a perpetual garden like me..Then the time frame is irrelevant. Plus there's plant limit laws too.

Also, one does lollipop ridiculously. Anything that doesn't shoot to the canopy, is a goner..

I'm actually running an 8 x 12 on the flower room. but that plant is a 4x4. I have over 50 tops on that plant. it's not the number branches. it's the size of the buds and the density for yield.

I run no till living soil and probiotics. So for that method larger pots are better to get the big yields. With bottled nutes you can run smaller pots. for my method larger plants always out yield more smaller plants. I have other 18 gals in veg that have 2 plants per pot so I can veg for less. I still need the large root mass for organics.

I believe you would benefit from making anyone of these cuts I put in the picture. If you make one of the lower cuts, you can use some medical tape (it breaths) to seal off the stem. you want to allow all the bottom growth to almost outgrow your main stem. Thus, creating a bush. After u make the cuts, tie the main stem down a little bit at an angle to allow the rest to catch up

I just remove the lower 3rd and scrog out my plants so the lowers are even or close to the same height as the main tops. There's always a few tops that out stretch the rest.
