Hi guys , so I have a Rntz plant in first day of week 10 of flower . I'm about to harvest it but noticed on the lower parts of a few buds there are a couple white pistils left . Should I wait for all of them to turn amber before harvesting ? Thx

Should look at trichromes more check with camera zoom in and check to see if there cloudy like 80 percent of all them. And if calaxes are fat. You have pic if not would watch trichromes more so than hairs.

I have had to chop plants a little early that still had white hairs and the smoke got me plenty high and was still very medicinal. Your not going to ruin your harvest if your plants have some white pistils. I actually prefer a less sleepy buzz and I noticed when I let the buds turn an orange hue and really ripen for 10-11 weeks in flower the smoke has a benadryl sleepy effect and I get more side effects like dry mouth, dry eyes etc.

This makes sense, because as THC ages and oxidizes (exposed to air/light) it turns into CBN.
Some of the side effects of CBN you should look out for include:
  • Changes in appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Upset stomach
  • Dry mouth
The trichomes on the plants were still scattered amber with all white heads with there still being some white pistils. Some strains if you wait until ALL the hairs are orange you will be overripe and the smoke will not have the same effects.

I agree you got another 5 Days or so no much more great pic on trichromes when you see them get little more cloudy id chop. I would snip small piece few days just to look at trichromes cause they change quickly now. Also continue to ripen after you chop too. Looks awesome

What about waiting till All pistils have receded inwards? Should one keep going if it looks done but a few pistils are up
