Can you tell by pics if they'll produce much, and about how long should they need? Ive read about the color of the trichs but never done it before.

As far as yield, I have no clue. As far as length of time goes, sativas tend to take a few weeks more than indicas to finish. The sativas yield more as a consequence though. I'd look in the harvesting and curing forum for ways to check how mature they are, there's a good bit of info about when to harvest there.

Yea, I always thought it was a dumb question to ask as far as yield, but I couldnt help asking. Thanks i'll check the forums.

I think everyone falls victim to the "How much is my plant going to yield?" temptation at least once. lol

Yo Oscar I saw a a 50 watt hps wall light on home depots website for $39.97 maybe if you add that you'll produce more. From what I see so far you'd only get 3-7 grams dry weight if that.

well first off he has 2 plant. 1 is 2 ft tall and hes got at least 4 weeks to go. gpw is a joke. People use that to justify there grow. What if you grew outdoors whats the gpw?
You still didn't explain how you got your estimate. What method did you use? One 2' plant should net you more than 7g with that much wattage and not letting it die. Gpw is for indoor grows. Tell me how many watts you burned on growing those outdoor plants and what the dry weight was though, and I'll give you a GPW. It's purpose is to gauge your efficiency, and get a workable idea of your yield relative to a constant though, so it's really moot on an outdoor grow. Granted, one should not use it to estimate other folk's grows, but it still is useful to get an idea of what seems reasonable. It also has it's flaws, but they can be overcome by common sense. Either way, I'm always a fan of more light. However, he's already rocking close to 400w. I know it's cfl, but people get some respectable results with them.

If you have a cable that can connect your phone to your computer then yes, you can upload pics from your phone, that's what i do! Once it's plugged in, go to the manage attachments tab, and when you click upload files, find your phone (it will probably be listed as a MSD (media storage device) or a drive) and click on pics you want to upload! Very simple, just gotta have that cable...
or you can email any pics to your own email, then open the pics on the computer and save them them move them to the site that way...

How accurate is the gpw ratio? If thats the case I should do okay. I know theyre cfls but still if its evenn close to that ill be happy, hell if its half that i'll be happy. Ive got mylar covering the inside of the closet door to reflect light back to them, once I put that up I noticed a significant diffwrence

Problem is he's using cfl's no comparison to HPS. CFL's have very low light penetration thus small buds and this is his first grow. I know gpw is for indoors I was trying to sarcastic. And like I said what I see so far. Not trying to be a dick but how long have you been growing? I've only been growing for 8 years, I don't know everything but I know enough and tried my things and still learning. Don't get caught up on gpw because I have some friends who own dispensaries or grow for them with 25+ years experience. Gpw does not work it has many factors that go against experience of the grower, the genetics of the plants, the media, the nutrient feeding program, the room temps and the light.
