white patches on my leaves

so i have these white patches on a lot of my leaves on all but one of the plants, ive had them for a long time, what could it be? i've checked for bugs i havn't found any (i'm not experience in doing this though). to me it doesn't look like the small white dots that you get with spidermites and there's nothing on the backside of the leaves

when i search for pictures of it it seems like they make a lot of tiny white dots and not these big white circles that i have

looks like whats left over, after drying, from your water after spraying them. nothing major.

its not thrips.

Looks like either you sprayed them with something that stuck to the leaves..and if you haven't sprayed anything on the plants at all, even water can leave spots...but anyway if nothing has been sprayed on them then you have powdery mildew...Really any stressed plant is more likely to get powdery mildew...It is easy to treat with all manner of things..spraying baking soda water on the leaves, spraying them with milk water...just google and you can find a plethora of info...
