Hi, odb.....sorry to hear about the surgery, but these dogs are prone to it for some reason. Be encouraged though, veterenary medicine has made super strides in the past years, and they can do wonders. My old girl has had both her cruciate ligaments in her back legs fixed, she's 13 now, decrepit, but still with us. Her brother had orthoscopic surgery on his knees @ UC Davis, for a condition they called OCD(growth plates loose in the joint), he could barely walk when he went in, the next day he was bouncing off the walls.
You will be amazed at the difference what now seems such a big thing, and how it will improve the quality of HIS life, and yours, will be so worth it in the long run. My prayers are with you both.
As you know......super big dog lover here. Two weeks ago I pulled a huge foxtail out of my male's eye, and he sat there and let me, as if he were made of stone. Vicious, I tell you, absolutely insane!! HAHA
peace be with you, bro! I cut a bud! take a look @ my thd!
