England! whats growing on Bud? lol. yellow leaves? Nitrogen diff!, the nutes your using are probly 0-50-30 right? lower the amount of nutes by atleast half, that way u wont harm your babies.... you shouldnt start seeing the leavs turn yellow till about the 6-7 week mark. be sure and flush your babies I bet theres a huge salt build up aswell!, let me know how it grows!... :leaf:

i dont really want to flush if im honest - too awkward - u think i shud lower my nutes by half then when im feeding them? i havnt used much nutes the whole time jus in flowering - im waiting for a good friend's opinion as he is a PRO on this stuff but i appreciate ur feed back and ur views - the ph of the soil seems to be pretty good - and i use a tea spoon of epsom salts when i feed!
using 15 gallons of water on each plant will be such a hassle - u get me? i buy the water i use aswell from the supermarket and its not too cheap - jus doin it for this grow! its weird because its only happening on 1 of the plants so it baffles me! fair enough at the bottom of the plants im expecting that but 1 of the plants has (a few leafs) going a bit yellow around the middle of the plant! its a strange 1

Hey man yellowing is probs due to the plant sucking sugars from the leafs to make buds.
What strain is it tho, cos i have Californian dream and its 5 weeks old and its just as tall and not as.... bushy
any advise on how to make it more bushy?

veg for a long time - they have 9-10 weeks - white rhino - there known for there bushy ness and look like that - they a lovely strain to grown - had my problems but hopefully on a slow recovery

Hello there fella,

Rhino's do really well when given massive root space. Up your pot by twice the size, and watch her turn into a REAL monster!

P.S. Use Distilled water to lightly flush your soil. Ph test the outflow and adjust as needed. If the problem gets better from the flush then you know its nutes/salts etc. if not and or worsens then the problem is a lack of something or something harmful in the soil. Check for mites...

i dont wanna re-pot again wish id use 10 gallon istead of 5 like i must admit - its been my biggest regret so far! i know they aint guna fufil there potential but i guess theese 5 gallon pots will have to do

i think i might just go back to 1/2 strength nutes for feedings now and water next! dont wanna have to flush cos of the 45 gallons id have to use LOL - its alot the ph of the nutes, water, soil is fine so i dont know wot it could be - its not too bad just a few fan leaves a bit yellow on the monster of them all - im hoping it will correct itself! after a few waterings and feedings!

I need some one to + rep me if they can. Some fool gave me a -10 score for no apparent reason a while back and it's buggin me!

The smell is starting to creep in slowly got a lovely stench of it! Colas r coming and bud sites are doubling! Happy days :-)

Damn glad im reading all these posts, I think I will invest in ten gallon pots and veg for ten weeks myself I got a 1000 watt metal halide and hps I will let ya know how it goes.

As a rule of thumb I have been told, read, and seen on you tube where:

yellow leaves - need more nutes

brown leaves - need less nutes

do a search on youtube for skaterdude (look for the green man) - he has 11 videos on growing (drip for veg & ebb & flow for flowering is what he does) and was very helpful and influential on my first grow. Now though I am using something similar to bubbleponics - I have 20 gal tubs with 6 holes in the lid (or

, 3 3/4" net pots, hydroton, rock wool 1" cubes, and 2 air stones for each tub, and using micro sprayers (6 or 8 depending on # of net pots - 1 sprayer for each net pot) - and I am having amazing results.

How much did they grow during the extra 5-6 weeks of veg (I'm assuming a normal 4 week veg stage)? I've been trying to work out a formula to estimate final size and yield based upon the length of the veg state, but I've had a hard time finding accurate data to base it on. Yes, I know that there are so many variables involved that those sort of estimates are always inaccurate, but I'm just looking to be able to calculate a rough ballpark figure.

i would say a good few iinches if im honest - the reason i VEGGED for so long was because i wanted them VERY bushy and lots of bud sites i didnt have a issue with the grow space so i thought fuk it, why not -

i had a few problems with it being my first grow but i mean every time i grow from now on i will be vegging for @ least 8 weeks - it seems to increase yield greatly so i dont see why i shudnt - patience seems to be paramount in this growing world - i just want big strong nice buds to smoke - its all personal so its more bout the smoke than the yield although i want a nice yield - my ladies are looking good - i have a new thread started with new pixs ! check it out and check my ladies ouit - there budding very nicely and the crystals are pumping mate!!!!! BIG COLAS
