They are about 3-4 nodes tall and are starting to make new shoots.

hey Dac...plants are looking beautiful...just a word of advice tho....dont snip off the fan leaves...they're the power houses for the buds later on...the flowers absorb all the stored carbohydrates from within the fan leaves (thats why they turn yellow during flowering). I leaf prune the lower leaves that dont recieve adequate lighting...

keep up the hard work!

I agree I wouldn't touch the fan leaves at all. Only time I cut anything is far into flowering. I trim up some of the lower growth. But aside from that i don't touch anything.

Well Ya. I just clip off the first set of fan leaves. Like the very bottem ones. As far as the ones that will pop out near the bud and up the shoots I wont touch!

But I Clipped the fan leaves that are on there now on 3of4 plants. Just so I can see the difference : )

I didint get to take pics today...Well accually I didint even get to change out the RES like I had planned! lol! All this will happin tomorrow.

Just letting yall know the babies look great. I trimmed the leaves like 4 hours before they went to bed. And there was no drooping, Wilting or even them freaking out.

I put the Leaves and the stems of the leaves in my dehydrator. On Low again 95F and going to dry them and put in my sack of shake. Maybe make some butter or somthing.

I'm jealous DaCDaC, I had a real hard time keeping the node spacing tight on mine.

looking good dac I am also thinking of pruning but i have also heard and read not to cut fan leaves

if you do anything top the plant now. Then you'll double your yeild. It shocks them, especially early on to remove fan leaves.

Eh. Well whats done is done. I trimmed 3of4 plants. Just to see the difference. We shall see soon enough!

I didint get to change the RES's out today because wallyworld is gay. Didint have my water in....Well They did but they said they were in the back of the truck they were unloading
and They wouldint be checked in until tomorrow... So! Tomorrow it is. The RES's Were running slightly low and I had some extra water in the house. So I
mixed up some some full strength nutes and filled them up to their correct levels.

So they have a little to munch on for right now. As far as shock for the plants. I havint noticed any changes in the plants. They arint wilting or anything.
We see the difference in my plants durring my grow. How bad or good trimming fan leaves early effects them. Of course Ill be topping all of them.


Anyway! Changing RES's and pic to come tomorrow. Ill be getting pics of the roots durring the res changes also. Yall should see the roots! Theres so many!

Plants lookin good man, hope wallyworld gets their shit together. Took me 3 tries to get activated carbon cause they were out.
