I'm fairly new to growing and I have no pictures for you guys i can just try to explain my problem. Seems like none of the posts about discolored leaves are really similar to my case. The leaves that are towards the top/mid section of the plant have weird silvery splotches that don't just rub off. I also have some tip burn but not very bad. I do have a gnat problem at the moment that i am getting rid of with mosquito dunks crushed up on top soil and mixed in my water that i mix with 10-10-2 seabird guano. It can't be leaf burn from my fluorescent lights just isn't hot enough. I'm thinking that damn larva are sucking the juice out of my plants maybe? If anyone knows about this please help. In the mean time i will look for a picture that looks similar to my problem.

Picture that is similar but my leaves are not as bad. No visible Thrips either.

had the exact same problem ( the silvery scrathy marks ) it's thrips. Do what I did, go buy "HOTSHOT pest strips2" I couldn't find any locally so i ebayed them, got them 8 days later after spraying with a pesticide ( bug-b-gone) and I have BUGFREE room. Buy the strips, no worries! ~ BCbuddy
