i recently purchased white wash to deal with a pm problem I’ve been having, I’ve never used this product, does anyone know if I should be spraying the plant while my lights are on or if I should be doing it while the lights are off?

You don't want to spray when the lights are on.

That White Wash is just frequency altered water. Meaning the pH has been changed. PM won't grow in pH ranges that are too acidic or alkaline which is why people have been using remedies that alter the pH significantly preventing the PM from growing.

The only PM wash product I've had great success with is "GreenCure". Stuff is AMAZING as long as you don't mix it too strong. That PM wash crap is usually 99.9% water and it never actually washes anything off!!

I mix bi.carb of soda with a splash of cooking oil and a drop of washing up liquid with water
Spray on plants works really well

I've had excellent success this year preventing PM using a potassium silicate solution. It just changes the pH like other remedies creating conditions that the PM cannot grow. I've added a little sesame oil on occasion to act as an insecticide with excellent results as well. The thing with potassium silicate is it only costs around $15 a pound and it only takes 1 gram per gallon. That's 453 gallons. Pretty inexpensive.

allways protect and remember the light, nothing worse then shattered bulb glass in your grow. caused by any liquid hitting the glass, and remember to eigher take the bulb out and replace after spraying or if you can, not allways possible, take the plants out and spray giving them time to dry off. wet spots can cause burn once the lights are on, there like little magnifying glasses
