White Widow, AK48, Pink Lady?, Romulan?- 600w vertical

AK48 and White Widow are from Nirvana. The other two were clones purchased from a dispensary in Lansing. The guy selling them was a little shady, and I later discovered that the clones had mites. I knew what I was doing with the two nirvana strains, but I figured the clones would be junk.

All four ladies were topped once and vegged to 20-24" in one gallon pots full of happy frog, and were fed flora nova.

On July 22nd they were transplanted to 5 gal. buckets and and switched to flower. They were fed flora nova, humboldt Oneness, molasses, and some humboldt Ginormous at about halfway through the cycle.

Nirvana's White Widow- This girl has been cloned from a clone for over ten generations now, and is still going strong. I found out the hard way from previous grows that she doesn't like humidity, but she didn't have to worry about that this time around.

I've got a Snow White that's right at her peak or damn close to it. I'm having to do a staggered harvest because the top half of the plant matured much quicker than the bottom half.. which tells me that I may need to think about adding some more lumens/light to the lower half of my grow area. I know it has some what to do with the genetics.. but everyone knows that whatever parts of the cannabis plant are getting the most light.. will be the first to mature/ripen up.

I did my famous 'quick cure' method on some of it.. and WOW. She tastes VERY resinous.. after I take a hit of the bowl, it leaves that resin taste at the back of your throat you know?? yeah, it tastes great.. but its almost TOO resinous.. its almost like I just literally put some resin on my tounge.. that's how strong the taste is. Smell could be better IMO.. but its not bad.

Overall so far.. I would have to give Snow White a grade of 'C' on a scale of (A-F). Maybe a C+ because it does help me sleep at night.. and the high is more of a head high.. at the moment.. so I might even let the lower half of the girl go 2 or 3 weeks longer than I did the top half.. which should sweeten her up quite a bit more.. we'll just have to wait and see.


Anyhow, yeah.. look good man. I thought about growing the Wonder Women once.. but changed my mind and went with the Snow White. I've got about 11 different strains currently.. and now that I'm almost done with the Snow White, I'm already trying to pick what strain I want to try and grow next. Ah, decisions decisions decisions!! hehehehe...

Nirvana's AK48- One of my favorite, most dependable strains. I picked this up at the same time as the widow, and it has been cloned and cloned the same way. From the time I started, through all the mistakes and experimenting, this plant always thrives!

Romulan?- Picked this clone up at a dispensary, and it did well in veg once the mites were taken care of. As soon as I switched to 12/12 it stretched big time and scared me a bit, but it slowed down after a couple weeks. I won't be growing this one again for several reasons.
1). I have my suspicions as to whether its really a Romulan, judging by the look of it and its slower finishing time
2). I could never really get the hang of it. It always looked a little weak and stressed throughout flowering, no matter what I tried.
3). The finished product doesn't look that great and is an absolute bitch to trim, though it does have a pleasant piney smell.

yeah AK48 is alright. I grew it out just ONE TIME.. and I shit you not my friend, I ended up getting the favored/famous pheno. The 'Blue Berry' pheno!!!

I actually got two harvests from her.. I couldn't get her to regenerate after the second regeneration/harvest for some reason. She acted like she wanted to.. but she just never would go.. never took off on the third attempt.

Let me tell ya though.. the Blue Berry Pheno AK48 is absolutely amazing. I almost cried when I figured out that she wasn't going to regenerate for a third harvest. I still have some of that left though.. come to think about it.

Pink Lady?- I had never heard of this strain before, so I bought it along with the supposed Romulan. She turned out to be a real treat! because of the vertical light, I didn't even notice the purple until she fell over and had to be restaked around week five, and she just kept getting darker and darker. She's not a great yielder, but the smell is amazing and I can only compare it to Froot Loops. Unfortunately, i didn't know what I had here, so no clones were taken... but I am trying to reveg her.
