thank you people, ill wait longer for the final verdict. interestin though if that particular one will turn out male. as for the grow tent - no funds to buy it at the moment, so ill stick to my box. its quite huge and im pretty sure it wont suffocate my plants. ill fix a few vent pipes in a couple of days. so far so good.thanx again for all the feedback!

ONE ON RIGHT IS MALE. Unless it turns out to be Hermaphrodite and then you can make ur own feminized seeds..cool.. I dunno i wish I knew how to do that.
MY TWO CENTS....
if you want a constant supply of dank. make a veggy chamber with T5 $30 and put in under 24/7. then just clone that baby in a month or two.
I have EVEN put in flowering for two weeks and saw female and now she is my Mother.. and her clones are not RETARDED at all or stunt growth..

thanx rosie, well the plant looking the same which means rather male, but if it turns into a shemale does anybody know if it can be of any use? what about making those feminized seeds? the other ones still immature but theyre only second day into 12/12. oh and one more question - do males show signs of sex earlier than females usually or is it completely random? attached pics are of one and the same plant

Man they look good, but i am starting to see the pollen sack on the first and last pic... the one in the middle (even though its the same plant) looks promising... ahhh..I hate males, but if that little ballsack gets one more sack.. chuck it. Time is precious and I know you may have thought to have "waisted your time" YOU have NOT. as you know you just got the short end of the stick. good luck and ask a Real Advanced homie how to stress the plant into a Hermaphrodite. never done it myself.

im definitely not having any second thoughts, getting some males is a calculated risk in this game (if you didnt have feminized seeds that is). just spotted another planr bearing similar characteristics as the one on pics. that would still leave 3 potential females anyway. probably just right to grow under 250w hps. doing another little experiment though. just planted 3 germinated seeds - 1 widow + 2 mazar. im going to put them through one week veg only and then straaaaight into the bloom together with whatever left from the current stock. its getting more fun :mrgreen:

The only problem with that is Stretching seedlings. . . they will grow UP and want to grow tall toward the light and this is bad. This is also why we veg our plants so they are short and bushy with lots of nodes for colas and fruit. I did this experiment and 1 out of 8 made it into a final plant. dont waste your widow...

do you think tips one week would be enough or should i veg for 2 weeks rather like you did?

the hot lamp of the hps will burn your little seedlings. think of a baby in the sun. not gonna be pretty. but a teenager in the sun... much better.

youre not playing fair - babies and stuff, hahaha. ok, 10 days veg (at most) and then 12/12. i think they will be fine under 250 hps. mind i have em in an open room not in a closet

I don't put any certain amount of time on it, I wait until they look strong enough and I make sure they are healthy. it depends a lot on genetics, this afghan mafia in the pic is a fast grower. I think the earliest I have ever vegged was 2 weeks...I veg under a sunleaves pioneer t5 light and then flower under a 400 watt hps...

thanx bro, the whole idea came up to me after reading those '12/12 straight from the seed' threads. but i think thats too outrageous for me, but im going to keep veg to minimum and see what happens. one more thing: when i rub the stem of those 'soon to be males' the smell is different than of those 'more likely females'. the second one is way better. or maybe its just me...

I veg like TIPS up there said.. Look at the plant. If it has a strong center stem and a couple of nice nodes, put her in the flowerin. sorry about the baby reference, but you know what im talking about homie. good luck and keep us posted w/ pics...

ladies and gentlemen, im back with some info on the grow backed with a few pics. first of all i ended up with two females - 3 plants turned out to be males. so im left with number 3(clay pot) and 4(plastic pot). males revealed themselves quicker. first one right after 36h darkness period, next two a day or two days after. i got rid of them promptly. both females showed lil hairs this morning, its barely visible on the images below. clay plant was topped but one of the two main branches was deformed so i had pinched it and was left with a untopped plant as the resuly. funny. number 4 is untopped and id like to leave it that way.so we are now in the first day of the bloom. 15 L pots are on the way + flowering nutes. 3 little seedlings are in veg and im thinking of putting them to flower in, lets say, 10 days. anyway enjoy underage bud porn!

an update to my grow. started with a simple question and now doin' a regular grow journal. plants are getting bigger and today they are one week flowering. imo they look good, but its my first grow, so i know what i know. i repotted them today for the last time to 15L pots and shot lots of pics - enjoy!!! if someone doesnt like my orange towel - tough luck!
