White Widow buds "re-vegging" at 11 weeks?

Hi guys.

I have a grow of presumably "White Widow", as i was told it was. I was also told it would be an 8 week plant. They are at about 11+ weeks now, and absolutely HUGE. I pruned them at about 4 weeks, and they were about 22" tall, after 8 weeks they hit 50", and took along time to flower. They showed normal signs of flowering at 3 weeks, then they seemed to just hang there, after 8 weeks they really started to take off, and are covered with trichomes. Ive been feeding them nutes, zero water, then nutes. The nutes consist of flora grow A+B, Alaska more bloom, And small amount of blossom blaster. They haven't received any nitrogen in the last 11 weeks. I started to flush them a week and a half ago, and they have received 3 waterings now of just ph'd zero water.

In the last week they started growing short shoots out of the large cola's, like they are growing new veg growth out of them, 1-2" shoots. My buddies did the same thing around the 11 week mark. Anyone seen this before?

Crazy. No changes in the light cycle? I would say who knows what you've got at this point, try to harvest what you can. No nitrogen for all of bloom is a bit odd too. I would have suggested the first 3 weeks then drop it.

well, this is what they look like. Foxtails, thats what they look like! what is causing this? Im hacking them down saturday, and i cut alot of the tops off last night, as the plants seem to be pumping energy into making this scruff, not what i was hoping for. The issue is only right under the 1000w HPS lights, the ones under the side lighting (floro's) are doing great, and dont display this phenomenon at all?

those aren't fox tails that's full blown reveg there, somewhere along the line you fucked up your schedule

not a chance man. lights are at 11 on/13 off. Buddy's did the exact same thing at 11 weeks. I dunno. strange.

Out of curiosity how long have they been under 12/12 for? Because if you mean 11 weeks under 12/12 then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with your plant/setup.

11 weeks buddy, both of us. this is definitely a sativa dominant strain. buddy has "elephant" in his bed now, at 5 weeks, and they are looking like these were around 8-9 weeks. we were told it was white widow, but we dont really know. they did everything a sativa would do. i vegged them for 15 days, and flipped em, they grew rapidly and bushed out normally, then i trimmed alot of the bottom branches off, then they STRETCHED, and took a long time to show signs of flowering, at 8 weeks i was like, WTF, is it ever gonna happen, then they started to explode. the buds on them are HUGE at this point, and covered with trichomes. then last week, they started this re-veg BS, just like my buddies did, to the "T".... there getting hacked down tomorrow, and thats the last ill see of them. I have the new "elephant" strain rooted and vegging right now, ready to take its place. i'd just like to know what, or why they did this?

Hey ginnzy what ever happened to your plant phenomenon?? I got the same thing going. I've never seen anything like it.
