Hey guys. It's been a while since I posted last. Here are some updated pictures of the ladies. I have 12 good kolas developing on the top and about 4 smaller ones on the side that I am going to put some supplemental light on to try to plump them up. Anyway, I'll try to post more frequently.

I'm just about halfway through flower. I think they're looking pretty good so far. Already getting a good amount of trichs on the bigger leaves. I was thinking of starting with some KoolBloom in about 2 more weeks. That will put me at week 7-8 and according to Nirvana, average flower is 10 weeks. I guess we will see how quickly them mature. :leaf::hump:

Hey guys,

Felt like photographing my girls today. I feel so shity about burning them, they would have looked allot prettier than they do now. Anyway, I am pretty happy with the results so far. I did find a bud developing on one of the large fan leaves. :o I have seen pictures of a bud on a leaf, but I didn't think it really happened. I have also included pictures of one of the average size buds and one of the larger main buds, the smaller being about 4" long and the larger about 6" long. Under the canopy there are TONS of little popcorn buds. I'll probably cook with all of that. About a week and a half before I add Koolbloom into the mix. I've never used it, so I'm not sure how much more I will gain, but I'm psyched to try it out and see the results! :eyesmoke: = me right now. I love Mondays.

how did you get the fixtures set in your hood? specifically the horizontal 2700ks. I currently have some cfl's lined along a plexiglass sheet to separate the heat but i think it's just picking up light. searching for a home-made hood to ballast them, yours looks fucking flawless!

also whats your ventilation for this, i saw it had open walls during veg, and i didnt see fans, how you keepin it dark but cool for flower?

Sup guys,

I took a couple more pictures of my hood to let you guys see how I put it together. The reflector is just a 6" diameter x 24" length vent pipe I got at Home Depot. It is held open by 2 dowel rods. All I did was shoot a self tapping screw through the sheet metal into the center of each end of the dowel rod. then I took a smoke break....:eyesmoke: Then I used a hole saw to cut out 2 holes on the top, 2 holes on 1 side, and 1 hole on the opposite side. For the top ones all you gotta do is screw the "Y" splitters in from underneath the fixture into your sockets on top of the fixture. This will hold your bulbs just fine. Then I took a smoke break....:eyesmoke: For the 3 horizontals I went as simple as I could think. I drilled 2 small holes into the top of the fixture above each horizontal bulb. Then screwed in each bulb from underneath into a socket on the outside of the fixture. Once the bulbs were in, I threaded a piece of wire through the small holes on top and around one of the tubes of the bulbs. Then I took a smoke break....:eyesmoke: Make sure if you go this route that you are careful not to over tighten on the wire as it could break you bulb (mine seemed pretty damn sturdy though, so i wasn't to worried about it). Once you do this for each bulb your hood is finished and VERY sturdy because of the extra support created by the bulbs being attached. After that I just wired all the sockets up and VOILA! I have also included pictures of the small supplemental light fixture I made. It's much more simple than my main. As far as ventilation goes I have this big ol' box fan on a slant blowing on them at all times. It keeps the temps down pretty well enough so I can keep the lights only a couple of inches from the plants. You can get creative though and maybe add some fans to the ends of the reflector to displace more hot air. Anyway thats about it on my lights. I did have a question on how long I should flush once I get to that point. My last grow I only flushed for 1 week. Would 2 weeks be more benefitial? I suppose it just depends on how quickly the plant uses up the stored energy in the leaves? Hit me back!

P.S. Sorry, I kinda started rambling. It happens when I'm smoking.:bigjoint:

I like your light reflector. Very creative. Would the bigger bulbs fit inside the Y splitter as well? Plants are looking nice too.

was planning on makin a new light fixture and your's looked too good comoc, i had to hijack it - hope thats cool, and even if its not, thanks!
plants had a great reaction, im startin a thread for em in a sec

(not as neat, but the lights all stay in place simply by putting the fixture on the outside and screwin the bulb tight!)IMG_2057.jpg
