I have done m8, just enough to allow the light to penetrate through the canopy, ur grow is a bit different though, if poss I wud probably wait till she started flowering, or, trim if and when u feel it is necessary, this is my first micro grow and have never b4 topped, trimmed, fimmed, l`popped or lst`d, so go with what u feel is right for ur setup, apologies if it is not more helpful but I don't want to give out any false information that could do more harm than good, having said all that, I think ur setup and grow is excellent. once again apologies m8. good luck and happy growing

we should not forget mj is a hardy plant and will recover well if we do make the odd mistake and I made all the typical mistakes that noobs wud make.

No its definitely a female theirs lots of pistils but they're just not packing up like yours their is just some in a couple branches.
It might be cause of some light leaks. Just covered them up last night will see what happens in a week

Mine would have been right their with yours...but I underestimated the power of a light leak.
Which was the cause of my pistils not growing. I see lots more now that I fixed it.

thx m8, I`m sure ur wr will catch up, u just wouldn't imagine light leaking in, on the dark period, would stop the flower growth so much, a valuable lesson to us all. when u have time post a pic. good luck and happy growing

Dude, that plant looks beautiful, really nice canopy there, and she looks tidy too, much more appetising than my current mess. How many days has she been going now?
As for the light-leaks, I've got quite a few on my box, and I haven't really noticed any problems with the flowering. Prolly just due to it being a diff strain.

thx mewk, I have to agree but more luck than judgement, she first showed pistils on the 22nd may, 15 days actual flowering, still another 6/8 weeks left.
I`m afraid I might run out of room, if and when I do I will re-plant her in a 1 or 1.5ltr bottle, we shall see. You could be right but mr.l seems to be having problems and as he is growing white rhino and I`m ww you would have thought they would be similar. thx for dropping by m8, good luck and happy growing
