White Widow Grow

Hi All,

I am doing my first grow with 10 white widow plants in a grow tent. Right now i only have one tent for vegging that is only about 4 feet high. Anyway what is the optimal height for white widow to be switched to flowering (or how many weeks)? Also what height size tent should I purchase for the flowering stage. I am hopefully going to end up with 5 females to cultivate out of the ten. I am using flourecents for the vegging stage and a 400W HPS for flowering. Any advice would be great.

There is really no optimal height...Height can just be used as a sign of maturity and there is an optimal maturity. As long as your tent is over 2 feet tall, you will have more than enough room to grow your plants and train them so they still big but short

If you're going to flower with a 400w, I wouldn't grow your plants out past three feet high. You'll still get decent penetration at that height. So for a three foot plant finished, you'll want to flower those ladies when they are around 10" - 12" high - no more. So - counting your pot, height of plants, light, and space between light and plants, I think I would go for a tent that's 6' or better.
