To me it's obvious that indica will give a greater chance of couch lock over a sativa. I meant within the individual plant itself , closed system. Can only compare it to itself if you are pulling early or not.Then you are listening to the wrong people
in 11 years of growing and a couple of early pulls due to issues such as bud rot etc I can say from my experience that effect is strain dependant.
if you grow an indica known for being a sedative high, cutting it early is not going to change its effects. It will however shorten its effects and lighten them.
Pulling later can intensify the effects, to a point before diminishing occurs.
Most people never pull late because when they think they’ve pulled latemore often than not they’ve pulled at the correct time based on how the plant looks.
