Totally awesome. They look sooooooo delicious. I have never tried AK47 before, but WW is a favorite. Is the AK really skunky smelling?

thanks for the props. actually the ak-47 tripped me out in the beginning, they only vegged for few weeks and started flowering on their own so i had to move them, they didnt get much time to grow big so i called them my runts!LOL the smell wasnt what i expected it too be,i thought my room would be stinky. only way i noticed the smell is when i put my nose up too the plant, you get it!!LOL so i dont know whats up with that! i'd say same bout the widows too so i'm curious cuz i've heard that the smell is suppose to be strong thru-out the whole house.

If you have no odour control and you cant smell much it is possible that your over watering them and they are not exasperating much.
If you let them dry out a bit more i think you'll find they stink a lot more
P.S. I did look through most of your pics and i couldn't see one pot with dryish soil in,it all looked pretty damp.

hey waffle the widow strain is derived from the white line of plants from the "Green house Seed Company". its more recent line developed by the breeder. Genetics Brazil Sativa/South Indian. This is the Black Widow version from the Mr.Nice Breeder,"Shantibaba".

Well i wouldn't know about amounts as that would all depend on the size of the pots kind of plants amount of heat in your room.
I water mine twice a week,Mondays once with nutes,Thursdays once with molasses and thats a good soaking on those 2 days.
The other days of the week i let them dry out and i give them what i like to call sips (lol).
Anyway i just pour small amounts of water around the root base to stop the plant from drooping i.e. just enough to keep them healthy.
This increases crystal and resin production and increases oxygen to the root system imo anyway

i dont know if you saw the new set up pic i posted but the room has 2 1000w the pot are 3 gal containers, and when the hubby waters them the floor gets soaked well not that soaked i'd say cup -cup n half is how much water he gives them.

Your plants look nice and nothings actually wrong with them,keeping them a bit dryer especially in the last 4 weeks will help to improve flavour smell resin and tric production and oxygenation of the root system.
If you let one plant dry out a bit see how much stronger it smells.
And when you water a dryish plant you can hear the soil releasing oxygen and then you can also smell a lot more.
Keeping soil continually wet also helps to bring on root rot,oxygen is as important as water imo.

just wanted to update everyone that is still following along,i couldn't wait any long so this evening we decided to trim XX(legal limit plus a nickel) plants, it took 2 people almost 4 1/2 hours.loaded with trics i love the lemon lime smell!! i separated them in two sections the big colas and the smaller nuggs. i'll post up more pic.

Very nice grow you have there ,just one thing i cant understand is the ak's i just finished 4 plants and i can put my hand on my heart and say that everything i have heard about them stinking is true,they stunk the place out and they wouldnt stop growing up ,in the end the smallest was over 4 feet and the biggest was about 7 .
so how did you stop the smell and keep them so short?

Thanks for stoppin by, i couldnt tell a diiffer considering i didnt wait long before i cut them down but i can this this that i do now notice a differ in the smell that they are dryin in a box, the smell comes up from underneath the floors up into the house!!LOL

i didnt stop the smell, i dont really know if i was doing something wrong for the smell to not be so strong and for the growth i believe since they didnt stay in vegg that long due to them startin flowerin ( w/24 hours of light, which i thought was odd) i would stay a couple to a few weeks.Thanks Sanie420 hows your grow coming along?

Just started a new one. My last one was great. I got it all dried and cured, very strong high with a nice yield. I got over 25 oz off of 12 plants. Hopefully this one will make me just as happy.
