The point of exposing dirty secrets is, as you mentioned, about the truth. And people do that work at great risk to themselves. Pretty honorable, yes? But, what happens when an exposing of truth is extremely elective as part of a biased agenda? Then it becomes an abuse of truth, which is the opposite of truth, which is a lie. No more honorable than a husband lying about cheating to his spouse. That's who Assange is, someone that weaponizes truth.

It sure looks like the truth is some military guys played drone games and killed a bunch of people. Do you support that, willingly?

I was thinking more along the lines of democracy you know liberal democracy with the right to vote and the rule of law.

Well Rob it looks like there are no governments that don't cocerse in one way or another there are no institutions that don't coerce people in one way or another so what is your problem? Did your parents cocerse when they toilet trained you? The reason you don't want to be told what to do Rob is that you think you're smarter than everybody else and then no one can tell you what to do. It's kind of like Trump

How is it a crime or a Felony when Assange isn't an American nor living in America? Next you will be locking up young German kids for having sex at 16 years of age because its illegal in America for a 16 year old to have sex.

What about what you did to the French when they refused to join the coalition of the willing into the illegal invasion of Iraq?
They said they wouldn't be coerced because Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. The french were ostracised and French shops etc where targeted by angry Americans in America.
French were right.

There were some drunken ones yesterday!
Completed the Safety and Sea Survival course which qualifies me for Cat 1 and 2 ocean racing. A couple of the skippers put on a BBQ and a piss up. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Been many a moon since i was drunk and i'm paying the price today.

Well how do you justify American laws (are they even American laws, is not free press protected by the constitution like Obama said?) being used against a foreigner in a foreign country?

He published war crimes. Americans deserved to know they happened. The people involved should of been punished not the person who published the crimes.
You know, i know, most people know it.
