i like ed rosenthal, and would like to someday grow out his strain if only just once not too big on sativas.... i like ed much better then jorge even though ed contradicts himself sometimes also...... fuck jorge cervantez

lot of everyones sources come from Robert Clarke, till this very day. his book is hella old but it still has cutting edge info. just my opinion

How can you say the words wikipedia and college-level in the same sentence. It's not about "who knows the right shit", rather, what you can effectively communicate to your fellow man. Ed put himself WAY out there to share his knowledge. Besides, he's been where he is for a long time, and if people want to call him the messiah of marijuana, let them. It's no skin off your back.

all the info u need is cause and effect. trial and error, learn from your mistakes, and its like everybody makes thier own strains these days its redickulous, ive even crossed 2 plants does that make me a genuis 2? haha makeing plants is technical and you should study its gentics before trying this, just like in dogs best genes are the same dog bred with the same kinda dog. pure bred strains is same kinda weed being crossed with the same type of weed. that thier will produce the best genetics. if u looked at m blaze grow journal you would realize how easy it is 2 grow biig bud and big plants key ingerident is how much water and when, and take fault on your selves for doing something wrong because if u keep doing it wrong u will never poduce any thing worth jack, its all about ur strain, ur dirt, and water, and light, wind, minor ferts. if u can perfect these requirements u can grow dank just about any where... so why would u need some one 2 look upon 2 tell you what 2 do? when i even take advice i second jude it because my ways of doing things can be totally different, im not saying hes a bad man or he s not a savage but hes doing it all for publicity, fame and money. hes sold thousands of books and dvds n shit. hes the millionaire while were all growing our smoke and being scared of dea n the cops so i think we all have just as big as ball as him becuase we actually need money and we need our herb 2!! for our meds and our familys meds for sake those man made posin pills will start killing us one day. never for get its just weed. its just evolving w/ humanity

You make some really great points. I understand and empathize with your position. Now understand and empathize with others. Ed wasn't your teacher, but he was to many others. I don't think anyone looks to him with the reverence of god or a deity, as much as they respect him, and the things that he has done. Both politically and professionally. Granted there may be more knowledgable growers. There are people smarter than Einstein, but it doesn't reduce his genius. In my opinion Ed's real genius is in finding a passion and following it to prosperity, even when that passion is illegal and often ostracized.

College level textbooks are just as prone to error as Wikipedia. And Wikipedia provides readily available material... only fools take everything from wiki as fact without confirmation but it provides 95% truth.

I've learned a lot from Ed Rosenthal, and so what if there are a lot of peope on there that know as much as he does. Most of them probably learned something from him. I don't see any of these people who are so badassed writing/selling books on the subject. I guess cervantes is just like any other guy right... claiming to know what they're doing when with the internet all the information is at your finger tips. Anyone with half a brain can act like they know what they're doing. All you have to be able to do is copy and paste. I don't take ANYONES word for anything on here.

growers i look up 2 have been growing from ages 13-18 and ive seen the cration s of marvoulous wonders u think the best growers would show a video or make a book? haha no! thier just stacking in pound after pounds by perfecting the simple weed plant. does ed show u hhow 2 grow a 13 foot 6 lbs out door plant? and what strains they are and how simple it is 2 obtain good strains has ne body ever seen a 2 lb top bud? haha i would find your oldest grower out thier and he would tell u something so simple u would almost crap your self. so simple they dont even wana say any thing its so easy, most perfected growers dont like talking about thier grow at all what so ever even though its totally legal they do not wana give up thier secrets. i have one word i can say 2 u all.....no 2, watering technique haha 6 more, simplefert, simple dirt. root bed. good luck plan ur grow out for your self n dont tell any one n dont take advice from any body u dont trust.

readings great but it dont actually tell u ever thing u can forget and it depends how your growing like i was saying u can kill a plant if u think u may be growing all gravy but it can be stunted nd it will not be growing 2 its full potential moisture content is an important factor 2 play with

kinda sounds to me like you dont like ED jus because he cant help YOU in particular, so because you claim to already have the same knowledge he does you just come out and slam the guy . i also would like to know how it is that you have come about knowing the exact reasons everyone respects him for , i myself dont know shit about his methods of teaching but respect him any way for publicly teaching marijuana growth PERIOD. guys like ED and JORGE are trying to help non growers be growers , whats the problem ? if you are as good as ED or JORGE quit yer bitchen and wright your own F'in book. hmmmm? i just dont dig slammin guys for tryin to help

Good look Dr.G Im a start my studies on him just now....Have no idea who he is....

When I bought my first and only grow book....I wanted somthing ,Informative yet Easy 2 Translate, Covered Seed/Clone 2 Harvest, Had Pics..... The book I chose took most of the info I had scattered in my head and help me put them in order....It was an Ed R. Book [Easy MJ Gardening] didnt acknoledge the authors name untill years later, didnt really care......

I don't view him as a GOD...BUT.....That book spured me and made me believe I could "Do this shit!!This shit ain't that hard!!!"

My Granny use 2 watch Jimmy Swaggart and cats like that every Sunday and I was itching 2 watch cartoons...And I'd say "Granny these guys aren't holy they just want your money".........1 Day Granny looked at me and said " A Person can speak words that R full of truth, but their intentions R Evil and their Heart and mind full of Hate and Lies".....I never bothered her again about that........
