I've got a few old seeds put aside for the breeding tent this year. Some I found with my old pipe from high school in a box. The others I've had for a super long time I plucked out of some Thai back in the day. I don't have many so I'm hoping for the best. I have a gazillion of the scwagg seeds. I found my pipe in a bag of shake filled with seeds. I also have some mango seeds. The bud was straight kill. I've only got like four though....again fingers crossed. I'll be trying to pop them late august. Then hope for boys and girls to play. My biggest mission is to get my hands on the SSH cut I had 2 years back.....OMG it was wild man. Got it from my clone supplier down south. He said he can get it for me next month again no prob.....again fingers crossed lol

I would absolutely love a great ssh

I have had poor luck with old seeds. But the few that germinated despite obviously weaker plants produced some amazing rememberable old highs and flavors.

The only times I tried cloning the results were frustrating.

I’m relatively new at this gardening thing really.

Luckily I have lots of friends who are awesome at working miracles breeding. I almost gave up on ever getting my early bubba K stable and stocked up. But there's lots of growers around my area that are also good friends. Thankfully with their help I have lots of very good early bubba seeds as well as many others I've done over the years. We're guna try to get an epic sativa out of these 2 strains I have beans for and the SSH cut. If I end up with something worth a damn and above average your welcome to some.

I've had luck sprouting old brink seeds (circa '79. ) with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in a shot glass of water for two or so days (if not sprouted by then take 'em outta the water and use the paper towel method, abort if still not sprouted within 15days)

I've got a plethora of different old bag seeds some brick, some not.

ya know reading through this thread reminded me of something. Where I am at brick weed is plenty plentiful. In fact most of the seeds I do acquire come from packs like that. I still have a few left from a couple of years ago. In fav I went through some old photos I have of a grow I finished in may of 16. Think this is what u guys might be looking for, I could be wrong too. The screwy thing is I didn't know what they were until I started doing a little research.WP_20160524_001.jpg WP_20160524_002.jpg

How about it taste & psicoactivity, sir?
It tasted like citrus spice, smelled like lemon pepper almost, a rare plant would smell more fruity funky, like 1/10. Rest were spicy citrus.
It flowered for 13+ weeks and had a racing, rollercoaster type of high. First time I smoked too much of it and had a rapid heartbeat for like half an HR before I calmed myself, almost like it was laced, but it wasn't. Just required smaller doses. It gave me my first cannabis induced panic attack.

Thousand thanks for your info @Shua1991 (I dont know how to "like" your post, btw).
They discontinued it, along with 'royal flush', which used the Oaxacan on both, eldorado was a female they bx to several times after hitting it with a high volume skunk. The ''Royal flush' they used the oaxacan male on a female jock horror(Jack herrer).

Maybe Fist Lady aka Primera Dama, by Original Delicatessen Seeds, are samethin like you are lookin for. And dont loose Mextiza [Oaxacan'79 X (Jamaican Blue Montains'85 X Nepal Highland Sativa)] by Cannabiogen.
...Jarilla de Sinaloa aka Cola de Borrego Sinaloense aka Sinaloa Lambsbread, by Cannabiogen, is a very good option, too.

At CBG Sinaloa has the Jarilla which is a legit old sativa from Mexico. I ran it. He has two more coming soon, one a hybrid and the other sativa.
How about it taste n psicoactivity?
Btw, I "knows" Sergio aka Zsergio, the great Mexican grower that gifted to Cannabiogen the strains Jarilla de Sinaloa (landrace), n the narcohybrides Chapita de Michoacán & Talibana de Sonora .
I really recomend these strains to allbody.

^^ Taste is a bit lemony I guess. High is clean and positive with smooth comedown. Nothing at all bad going on with the high. I am starting 2 Jarillas right now. I lost my stash of Jarilla to mold and need to get some more in my life. Also starting 76 Guerrero from Swami, Central Mexican x Oaxacan by Snow, Acapulco Gold by Snow.

I was joking. And it has likely been hybrids for a long time.

We used to get “lids” of Columbian Gold in the 80’s.

That was a definite sativa high.

The brick I smoked here in Michigan a few years ago had a much more common mixed effect.

What you want is old brick weed seeds from the 70’s.
There is still good pure sativa brick coming out of Mexico.

I've saved various brick seeds over the years and still grow them.

I like them. The only thing that makes most brick weed crappy is early harvest, improper dry and cure, the way it's packaged and smuggled.

Grow them out with care and there's plenty of fire to find.
