Who Dat! 6 Strains.

hey WhoDat, about how big are each of your clones?? and how big do you expect them to get?? right now I have about 20+ clones I just wanna know when the right time would be to flower them. I have a 4x4 area.
Hey favre- Um I think mine are about 7-8" tall but I have never grown any of these strains before so I dont know exactly how tall they are gonna get.

Think the lights will work better that way? Got a few plants in there. Going to start being really cramped in there. I'm really looking forward to the "Durban Poison". Take very good care of that one, I want to get excited about them, so I'll want to risk getting some. :leaf:

The suction on the lights will be greater but the footprint of the lights is a little off. Its def getting crowded fast and I;m gonna have to either do some thinning or take a few plants out...or both.
hmmm I wonder if the purple one is purple because of the genetics or because its a sativa dom that's too cold...?
Well with a co2 ppm of 1500 I got the day tems at 78-84 and the night time temps at 70-73 I dont think its too cold. It seems to stretch allot but has fat leafs, i'm not sure what its is but it smells great!

Cool! It's probably a purple genetic strain then, hybrid indica/sativa most likely, with phenotype being more sativa in length/growth but more indica in leaf appearance:hump:
Looks good! I hope you get straight PURPLE dank:mrgreen:

Getting crowded, does anyone think its too late into flowering to do some trimming on the bottom growth? I think I'll do a small amount of trimming little by little over the next couple of days. Any input on the subject is more than welcome.
You can see the sourD and ?purp? stretching out... mmmmm cant wait to taste all the different stains!

i think it's ok to trim some bottom growth,it can help with air flow.

All pruning done during flowering works best (in my experiences) if you do it right before the lights come on. I don't know if you have a green light or anything you can stick in there, but that would be best.

The reasoning behind this as I understand it... During the "night" (lights off) the "excess" or remaining nutrients that haven't or are not being used get drawn down the plant back towards the roots. The actually process of "respiration" for the plant is what draws up the water through the roots into the plant and up to the leaves where it is needed for photosynthesis to take place. So trimming as I see it should be done when the lights are off and will remain off for long enough for you to do what you need to. So, when you are chopping away you can feel better knowing that you're not taking as much away from the plant since the majority of what the plant has in "stock pile" if you will is in safe keeping. Make sense???

As a side note I try to use the same technique when harvesting. :leaf:

makes allot of sense cola :-) Thanks for that bit bro. I dont have a green light but they are cheep and I can pick one up soon.

Day 12- 12/12:joint:
After sifting through the ladies I feel like I found some more mislabeled plants, so the new count is-
12- ak
3- bbk
8- sour D
4- derbin
2- ?purp?
4- ww
Starting to see some tiny flowers!!! yay!!! The smells are getting stronger and stronger everyday...
