Who else chops and trims wet?

On one of your first pics your top bud still had tons of white hairs and so did your bottom bud. That means none of it was ready. If you had some white hairs on top AND your bottom buds looked done, you could make the case for fox-tailing. Nothing about your bud showed ready.

No scope needed to provide that info.

It's well known that plants don't need to have all amber PISTILS to be ready. You do realise there's not one window and that people have personal choice of how they like there high?
 
I should of known better to be honest next time I'll upload pics in natural light so people can better judge before commenting it will save the back and thourth I reckon.
 
I always do a tight wet trim. I like to get it done on 1 pass. Cut, trim, dry, and jar. I don't want to go back and retrim. When I cut the plant down I trim it up to the final product and am done with it. But to each their own. I don't spend a bunch of time fiddling with my plants like many do. I try and reduce the time I spend on them wherever I can. Cutting and partially trimming then going back to do a final trim after they're dry adds additional time to the process. Time I would rather use for other things.

Yes exactly except my situation calls for only 10 days ;

Within that 10 days it's a vacation period ; one the leaves are crisp it's little to no effort. Many friends enjoy the delicious sugar trim as well they even got me smoking it as it doesn't need much of a cure like the flowers. It may be why I am particularly carful with my leaves

Interesting. I always found the fresh plants were easier to trim and manipulate than dry buds. I will be harvesting in a month, I think I will split it up and try to wet trim some and dry trim the rest. Nothing to lose by trying both on each plant just to see if I find a difference in the end product.

When the leaves are crunchy you will still need to leave it don't let them fool u. They are like little shields around the flowers. Once crispy they wont stick to everything and can be easily removed without needing to manipulate the buds. *edit the temps need to be less/than 60F for best experience

Some people wait for a snap but I wait for 3 turns and a pop on the flower.

I wet trim and dry with a herbsnow dryer. I've experimented a lot with it and theres literally very little difference between hang drying with a dry trim and wet trimming with a herbsnow.

I've let numerous people try the 2 separate products from the same plant after doing half and half with each method and a 3-4 week cure. My findings were that its completely random which plant people will think is better. In fact they will only try to distinguish the two products if pressed into judging them by me. Me and my friends are connoisseurs and pretty much weed snobs and while there is a SLIGHT difference between the smoke of the two products, one isn't better than the other.

After running my own experiment on both methods ive come to the conclusion to do whatever works best for you. Claiming theres a major difference either way Is all bro science to me at this point.

You have a lot of sick plants so I will take it with a grain of salt - ur experiment that is. However viable it may have been lol
 
I wet trim....I just found dry trim to be more labour intensive.

end of the day, I don't see any other advantages/disadvantages with either method.
