Who Else is Single and Happy?

I've been single for 12 years. After I got divorced for the 2nd time I swore I'd never marry again. That piece of paper screws everything up. Then I met a very special woman that felt the same way and had the same relationship goals as I. She was sweet, kind and fun to be around. But she liked having her own place and living life by her rules. We were FWB for nearly 7 years when she was killed in an armed robbery. Since then I haven't really looked for anything serious because nobody could ever fill the void left in my life when she was killed.

That's pretty messed up. I don't even know what to say?
Sorry for your loss. Hopefully you'll find another love that can fill that void and hopefully add to it.
