Who is right who is wrong

I been growing a long time. And until the past few years didn't use the so called miracle products like ff and an and notgs..I have since tried them and have had results from all..but I been off work a few days and have read so much I have lost my eye sight and seen so many pros and cons of all of them and some who say their just snake oil..and so far from what I have gathered this is a big subject....so who is the best dollar for dollar....I just used miracle grow and 10 10 10 for years and grew some impressive plants! But I know there better but where? Input anyone.....

Depends on what you want to do

You can do organic on the cheap with bone/blood meal and other soil amendments

The wife is always right.

and a sizeable chunk of us like Jack's dry salt products, and mix them ourselves

Cheapest way to grow imho is a peat based soilless mix with dry ferts.
I can get a 7cf bag(after expanding) of berger bm6 for $18 its just peat perlite and lime. Ill buy a 4cf bag of perlite for $12 and mix them up and get 11cf of soilless mix for $30. Usually grow in 3 gal pots so that's about 27 plants for $30 in soil.
Get some cheap ferts like Megacrop, Jack's, or Dynagro and you're bangin.
