Who makes/sells a reasonably priced red led strip?

Growlightsaustralia sells a cool waterproof stick on light chain called buddy's it may be worth looking into
Buddies are nice and very close to cree xpg efficiency. Also covered diodes with nice wide optics (great for low hanging fixtures!!) and you can drive a truck over them. Not a strip though, and allthough you i think theres a hack for it, the web says not cutable to size. TEKNIK who sorts out the fabrication of these is a stand up guy. Also worth mentioning, re sunplus purples; the buddies exists in the same format, red phosphor covering covering a blue (i think?) diode, only that its 100% red, similar peak in 660. These really hit the the 680-700nm range in a way thatt is hard to find.

SI-B9W111560WW ... Not recommending this to anyone as I have not tried it just saying it could be a cheap option to mix in with the 4k H strips to make it more suitable for flower.
Yea I went this route to try to add some reds to the 4k 80cri strips. 20 strips was $36 to my door. They seem pretty inefficient based on the datasheets and only 24 diodes, but the 120 watt 24v lne driver was only $18 as well, so maybe worth looking into as an option. Not straight reds, but the should bring a bit more 625-730 than the 4k strips it seems.

I would love to try out what you guys have been doing with those sunplus diodes, but I'll save that sort of endeavor until after I get more of the basics down with the strips I have in hand first. Look forward to reading up more on that whole process for the time being though.

Do you have the 90cri mixed in or not up yet? If you have them up, hows it looking?

Not up yet. I wired some up and ran them with a couple f series on a different channel for a few hours, bout it so far though. Picking up my baking sheets tomorrow and drivers should be here by saturday at the latest too. Just a matter of putting things together after that. 4 f series and 4 90cri per sheet is the plan for now using 4 sheets total. 16x f series on the lne 185-48v and 16x 90cris on the lne 120-24. All strips will be well below their nominal, but we'll see what happens. I'll post up a pic whenever it gets done.
