Who remembers the 60's?

13th floor elevators, I broke from pop music forever

Sitting here in my grow room .....came by this.....how f'ing nice for a f'ing change
( in my comfy chair , shellaced , watching the melding of color , movement and great sound to drive it . Much more sophisticated , yet it reminded me of the 60s dances ( f'ing live bands for shit's sake ) . The "overhead projector "......big tray water....food colorings..........f'ing groovy baby !

So many great songs posted. Looking back the 60's were the best years for music bar none. I would close out the 60's with the Stooges "1969". You'll have to look it up yourself if you want to hear it, I'm not savy enough to post it here from utube.

Welcome to RIU's music section. The stooges are a great choice.

It's real easy to post. If you are on a laptop of pc, just left click on the you tube address to turn it blue, then right click and copy. Then come here and paste. Not sure about phones, since I've never had that addiction, but I'm sure it is easy too.

Great f'ing pick.......it's probably just me but I see some Morrison antics in him .

I got you (I feel good) James Brown

No one has ever had that soul smashing energy like Mr. Brown. Whatever he's singing , it's always intense heart and soul . He'll lift ya right off the ground !
He is so sincere ! If I could spend a night with a person from past or present ,
It would be Mr. Brown!
