who wears sunglasses in their room...

I just came out of my small closet with a 1000W (the light is new to me for only 3 days now....up from a 400)

i was in there for an hour... tuning and everything...and now I have a Sun headache....

I'm gonna start wearing shades I guess....

who else wears shaden in their room ? if so ... any one kind better than others ?

remember adds for those Blueblockers ?? they supposedly help sharpen vision too (maybe it'd make it easier to catch banana sprouts and flowers on males....lol)

Yeah I wear them if Im checking my girls at night. I'll come out of the closet and be blind for a few minutes if I dont wear them

I know I do... well, did, anyway. 4 cfl's in a small closet can really get bright. The shades sure did help a lot, that is until I got stoned and sat on them.

i just avoid looking directly at the lights

I have to wear them in the room I've got reflective floors and milar walls.
Just runnung 1 400 watt now but going to 2 400s soon.

i did at first when i started with a 8 bulb t5, then my eyes got used to it so i stoped, then i wore them when i got a 1000 w hps but my eyes got used to it so i stoped, then i added another 600 watts so i wore again but my eyes got used to it so i stoped.. but now the world seems so dim lol

I knew this thread would start to fill in fairly quickly.

I wear my Okley's glasses when I go into the grow area.

at night, just in case I ever needed to open the door (because its pitch black in this little closet when lights off is on) but yeah just in case I ever needed to get inside the area with lights off... I went ahead and bought a $4 green "party" bulb from Home Depot and use that whenever I need in there. Also, if I accidently forget to turn the green light off, its no big deal. Green light doesn't interrupt the cycle.. in other words; The plant doesn't react at all to the "green" light.

anyhow, just thought I'd give MO.

i ALWAYS wear them. The times i dont or forget are the times im partially blind after i left my room and regret it. Its like looking into the sun, literally.

Was gona say thats probably a very bad thing if your eyes get used to it. Same deal with your ears and loud noise.

i dont wear sunglasses... infact i dont wear anything. i go commando in my grow room!
