Oh.... I guess I misread your thread title. yepper no bias indicated there...yup yup yup.

funny thing is, even though i would consider myself, shit i dont know, an independent? (i have a hard time identifying with any of the fucks we have in office, left OR right) at fist i laughed and kind of agreed with the statement that is being argued.

i mean is fox pushing its own agenda onto mlllions of viwers who probably dont know any better so they just eat up all the hype without thinking for themselves? sure, but so is everyone else lol, CNN, NBC, hell even newpapers, all freakin do it, so why are we pretending that this is new just because fox has taken the lead (and maybe even redefined it a bit?).

frankly, i watch my news from all sources that i can, though usually its randomly picked articles from google news. BUT, the only thing i truly enjoy watching news wise is my Colbert and Stewart. Sure, even they push a bias (and if you dont think comedy central has an agenda i would think again), but at least they make me fuckin laugh while i watch it, and not just at their stupidity.

I'm also an independent and feel the same way about the leaders we have today.

I don't ever watch FOX and really couldn't care less. Ppl get all excited one way or the other...but it's just a news program with a glitzy presentation. Ppl obviously like it since it dominates any competition it encounters...

Forget the spin...on both sides and FOLLOW the money instead. Ignore the words...and follow the ACTION.

Then you won't need CNN or FOX to tell you anything....you'll already know the truth. Even if no one on TV is saying it.

We are on an illegal hobbyist forum, and people are defending the govts that are prosecuting us?

I feel like going on a rant about how you are all dumb for caring, both parties only want your money...they dont care about you as a person...they only care about how much tax per year you give them...They dont care if weed is not as harmful as booze...they make more money off alcohol than you can imagine...

I mean i know people say it all the time but its true:

You are at a pub. The guy down the bar is ordering beer after beer, mixed with shots every half hour or so...

at 1 hour into the night hes shaking everyones hand, dancing with strangers, having a great time...but he keeps ordering drinks! Hes on top of the world why stop....

at 2 hours he just got out of the toilet having thrown up...best buy afew more shots to replace all that alcohol just lost...cant be fucked drinking all that ber so will go straight for the good stuff.

at 3 hours hes in the back of a cop car..the bartender wouldnt give him any more alcohol, so he thought it would be funny to grab the bottle...only as a joke..the barkeep didnt think it was funny and snatched it back...now the bartenders in hospital with a broken cheekbone. The dudes banned from his local pub where his wife and kids used to accompany him for bar meals and hes gonna have assault charges pressed.

Now lets go to another bar.

Here the "overzealous" patron is completely sober, and the other pub never happened. He orders a space cake to start, an a few premium joints. He draws quietly while he eats his cake. He orders a cup of tea as the cake was a little dry.

He smokes a joint and begins to get giggly. He follows the same procedure as the previous pub, only this time as he smokes more weed instead of getting violent and putting people in hospital and upsetting his whole family, and fucking his kidneys, hes fallen asleep at the table...the extent of "official intervention" is the waiter waking him up, giving him his invoice to be paid and then he goes home to bed.

Yet we go to jail for smoking weed and stay OUT for drinking booze. In reality drinking alcohol will cause you to behave badly and go to jail...but in this world we are allowed to drink alcohol..thy just dont want us falling asleep in cafes...much better to throw up blood and start fights.

the only candidate that DESERVES you guys defending them like this is the candidate putting HIS balls on the line to get mj decriminalized. (We can all agree, decriminalization is much better than current law, I personally think legalization is best, but I CAN see both sides...).

Everyone else is saying "we gon' done and throw you in jail if you touch on this here devils plant". <---dont stick up for these guys fuck they dont have your back.
