Whole plant curling up?

Hey guys I have a humble little grow and two plants are really pissing me off.. I cant seem to figure out whats wrong with them. I cant seem to find anything that looks like what I have right now. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? The plants are looking like crap and making me sad.

7 gal smart pot with FFO soil. I feed ph 6.0-7.0 water. The top growth seems to be alright but everywhere else is just ugh.

How hot is it in the room? How close are your lights to the canopy? Any discoloration? If your plant is curling that bad and it's hot, it's most likely trying to loose moisture to cool off. But if your temps and lights are fine then it could be overwatering, nute problems or something going on with the roots.

Need to know a lot more about your setup before you'd get an accurate estimate.

Temp min 70 when light off
Temp max 80 when lights are on

there about 2 feet away from my light, light is on a light mover. No discoloration. I have a lil heat gun and the leaves arent going above 80... I think it might be the roots too... should i just pull the plant and kill that son of a b? my other two plants are fine but these two are being picky for some reason.

Don't do anything just yet. If you're planning on killing them then there is little harm in experimenting to try to fix the issue. Lets have some other people chime in on this. But if other plants are fine and the temps are normal then it's not likely an environmental issue but something internally.

Curious, what strain are those curly plants?

No clue haha friend gave me the plants cause he didnt want them. He didnt even know what they were. Its some kinda indica strain for sure tho.

And yesir I'll leave the lil punk alone for now, ill experiment a bit if anyone has suggestions!

I'm using FFO soil and growing an indica type strain. My temps are the same range as yours if not exactly. I've had a few curling but I caught my plants before they got that bad. Immediately raise the lights a few inches higher and allow cool air to flow through. Next flush your soil. Basic 6.0 pH and 000 ppm for a week to 2 weeks. Your plant should correctly respond and recover.

Hmm interesting i just took the leaves temprature and its a cool 73 while the healthy leaves on other plants are 79. But I raised the lights and ill Flush tomorrow. Ill throw like 14 gallons of 6.0 water in that b.

That's best. It's either the lights or the soil that's causing the problem. Stay at that temp for the moment and be careful to not over water it. When water comes through the bottom of the pot, stop. I have 5 gal smart pots and as you know, they hold moisture very well. With temps around 75-80, water evaporates quickly. Water them again 2 days later. Since your plants are still in veg, they are forgiving (trust me).

This looks like stunted growth and the tips are curling, have you checked for bugs ? I had russet mites that caused new growth to stay very small and shrivel a little and my leaf tips curled like this. I got nuke em and it fixed everything. If it's not over watering and too warm my guess is some sort of bugs.

Look up russet and broad mite damage on google images. Hooefully that helps. My outdoor plants had those same leaves and it was russet mites. If they are russet mites take care of that quick. But im not sure definitely look it up

They cant fly but they will make your way up the plant slowly and they reproduce like crazy. You might have to nuke em. But be sure before you do anything

Ya I think mites, like I said nuke me is a great product to use any time. I switch that up with neem oil to spray all the time to keep my room clean. I've yet to have another mite infestation.

BUYING SOME NOW. Do you possibly know how much it took to get rid of them? Or as in application directions?

Its not toxicity for sure, I feed about 700 ppm in 6th week of veg with a flush every week!
