Once again, any proof these things catch fire? Damn you guys are sensitive.
I skimmed back through the thread, nobody said they caught fire. Many claimed to get electrical shocks from them. Any electronic device that gives you electric shocks is a fire hazard since there is some kind of electrical issue with it. So is your argument that all the ones shocking people are not a fire hazard? I would consider any electrical device that shocks people due to poor wiring a fire hazard, no matter what company built it.

Well as your post said no you got your answer I myself have only heard of people being shocked by them and people having heat problem with them but the thing is that I have against them is that they do not take care of the home grower when there is a problem. So if you are going to buy one please be careful and O ya welcome to Riu and the best of luck as always thank you for your time

These are currently under a Mars Hydro TSW-2000 however....I am building a light to replace it. But if a light shocked me....it would be the last time I ever used it.

I know others that grow under Mars lights as well and are happy with them. There are enough folks out there claiming electric shocks from them that there is or has been some issue. Dont know if it is poor manufacturing or design. These complaints should not be ignored. Any electrical issue can be a fire hazard, the company label does not change that. I would have the same issue if getting shocked by an HLG, Meijiu, Kingbtite, SF or Timber.

Like I said, I used to grow strictly under them. Served me well for their price at the time and some of my best plants were grown under them. I just upgraded my spaces over time and DIY was the best option for me at the time. I also didnt know a single thing about building them but so glad I did. If anything, I wish I had done it sooner. I personally never had a problem with the Mars lights.
