Why are light leaks more detrimental indoors?

If a small amount of light is a regular part of their dark period they don’t react to it.
That goes for LED lights on equipment inside or street/porch lights outside.
It’s the unexpected light that triggers them.
IME.
That's exactly what I wanted to hear. It's what logic dictates, but as us humans are so full of doubt we need to hear it from someone else. Cheers. With the amount of people claiming that a single mocromole of flux during dark cycle indoors causes issues, I thought I might be living in a parallel universe.

Why would a plant react to ambient light differently just because it's in a tent and not outside?
It was more a jab at people who constantly claim a single green standby light indoors can trigger a multitude of issues to no avail. I see a million posts here a week claiming that all their issues were caused by a light that doesn't even register flux on a Meter.

Perhaps I should have said, "why do people perceive more issues with light leaks indoors".

Yeah, it's a weird phenomenon.

Lol. Ya the cheapies are well. Cheap
There's some that are ok but I find their poles are small and bend with weight over time.
Got a gorilla and I'll never look back. Pricey but it's solid
Luckily I work at a metal fab shop so I got some 1.2mm pipe from work that fits well in the corner fittings. The braces were bending with noting but two 100w quantum boards hanging from it and it fucked with my OCD.

Didn't cost me any extra, so I basically got the greenfingers tents for the canvas. Surprisingly there is no pinholes though, and the stitching is good. The original cross braces are always handy as side braces to mount lights and tie points to lol.

I made the mistake everyone does at first....."I've seen plenty of dudes grow 4 plants in a 2x2 on YouTube with a 120w LED, I'll be fine"....a few months later, multiple tents and multiple lights later I wish I just picked up a 5x5 and 480w quantum board off the bat.

I leave the back flap open thats against/facing the wall, and it is pitch black in the tent in the middle of the day with all windows and lights open and on in the room. I got in the tent to test it. Couldnt believe how dark it was.
