Why Are My Buds Not Geting Any Bigger?

I have an arroponic set up, try to keep PH at about 5.5. I have a strain that flowers in 8 weeks. Im using a 600 watt HPS for light, and flora nova nutes. Ive added beastie bloom about half way through as it helped produce denser buds in previous soil grows. Im approaching week 10 and for the last 3 or so weeks it seems as if the buds have not goten any bigger. The tempeture is cooler than it should be but has been cool the entire time, usually about 63 with the lights off and about 73 with the lights on. Humitity is in about the 50 to 60 percent range. From what i told you does anyone have any theories why the buds have seemed to stop growing. Keep in mind although they are generally small they are pretty dense, and the leaves on the plants are green and healthy.

Maybe you have a light leak going on...

how many plants do you have and how big is the room?? how far are the lights from the plants?? i have heard if you apply GA3(Gibbereillic Acid) at week 1-2 with a foliar spray and then at 5-6 wks do it again and it can increase yields up to 50-400% yes i said 400%!!! just some fruit for thought!!

I think you mean FOOD for thought.

I have tubs that are about 20 inches by about 36 inches 2 of em , containing 15 plants each. The light is on a light mover about 8 inches from the plants. The room is about 6 ft by 7 ft, with mylar on the walls, but im only using about half of the room. Its crazy everything was doing fine, and then the buds stopped getting bigger. Before when I did soil i got really massive buds, but they wernt very dense. With this im getting small buds that are dense but not very large.

are they the same strain

I moved a barrier a few weeks ago and it opened up a spot where light was getting in, and i think thats the problem. I think im going to let em go for 2 more weeks to see if they get bigger with the problem fixed, theyve already been goin 10 weeks on sunda though

Sounds like some light leakd in and reverted them back to veg or seriously stunted the growth on buds!! Hate to hear it so late in the process!! might be a loss!!

If its a 8 week strain and your at 10 weeks the buds have stopped growing because its nearly finished. From my experience, most 8 week strains will peak flowering between 5-7 weeks with a decline from there....
