Still got 4 weeks to go.it will fill in much more
The key is making sure they are well fed when in stretch.
I give 3 high K feedings(bloom nutes) through flower.. week 1,weeks 4 and week 6

Hey I was just wondering if anybody knows why the buds on my Chicago blue dream are staggered and not connecting to make one big bud like Emmy white widows? They’re in week 5 after flip to 12/12 I put a pic of my blue dream and my white widow so u can see the difference.
Those look like beautiful plants. They are just different genetic traits expressing since they are different strains. Whats really crazy is that you can pop one pack of seeds all the same strain and get various looking plants. Its whats called a phenotype; the way a plants genetics express based on the environment its grown in.

Your plants have tons of growing left to do and might totally surprise you with how they change. Don't put any thought into the number of weeks flowering or when to harvest them. Just focus on keeping them healthy and letting them grow to their full potential.

More nutrients DO NOT make bigger buds.

If you keep us updated later on in the plants lives we can help you figure out when they start to show signs of maturity, or if there are signs of problems along the way.

I’m using fox farms trio should I give more than the recommended dosage with bloom nutes?

I 100%agree with you,however...in my experience feeding proper npk ratios based on days in flower raises yields exponentially..

And strains in general just stack better when u give them bloom nutes at the correct times.and every strain is different so it takes a couple runs to get it dialed in proper

Of course, dialing in a grow will always improve results. This grower is not to a point of worrying about dialing in a grow. Dialing in a grow can only really be done once you have ran the genetics previously and learned what they need and when, otherwise you are just guessing.

Most plants just need a simple balanced feed to produce excellent results and reach much of their genetic potential.

For anything else, they shouldn't be worried about flower times.

Another variable to how the buds progress is genetic maturity. How long did you veg them for? Did they both start actually forming flowers at about the same time, or did one start faster then the other?

Either way the answer to the OP is still just genetic variation.

I just did a GG#4 and WW grow, and the WW joined up over the whole plant, but the GG#4 only grew about 10 nugs each for most stalks. Lot of stalks tho, i overtipped it.
