why are my plants flowering

hey guys im growing some purple widow pure power plant hollands hope and durban poison but alot of my plants seem to have gone into flower im in perth australia and the day length is around 13 hours and a half is there any reason why they would be flowering? if any one could help me out it would be much appreciated.

why wouldn't it be flowering you have it on flower time.sometimes it only needs 8 hours of dark to do it.u should have Atleast 18/6

ok il try that. i just dont see why they would flower when its spring and almost summer. noone else seems to have this problem

you might have mistaken preflowers for the beginning of flowering. there's no way a plant would go into flowering at the start of summer any other reason that i can think of.

ive had problems like that wioth my plants here in canada, one of my plants was 100% done flowering in july, thats about 1 month before plants start to flower here in canda, its all in the genetics of the plants

yer i think iv worked it out the sativa strains are flowering and all the indica strains arnt so they must not be able to grow here. pitty was realy looking forward to a few pounds of purple widow.

yer weathers been messed up lately. yer im talking full on bud all the way down the stem and there stretching aswell instead of growing wider and taller there just growing taller so i think it is flowering, but all the indica strains are fine. im gonna setup a little area where i can pull the plants inside after the sun has gone down and have a 100watt cfl in there would that be enough to stop 15 plants from flowering or will it need to be brighter? also 15gallon containers should see them through till harvest right?
