I'm searching for my own personal favorites. I tend to be into extreme thick flavor and an effect that leaves me able to get stuff done. I medicate to keep my ADHD and generally unsatisfied feelings under control. At least thats the best way to explain it. I think the strains that work best for me are slightly more sativa hybrids. A little to much sativa and it will kick in the anxiety and really get me going (I like this stuff to party, good rec weed), and a little to indica I turn into a stereotypical stoner (has its time and place). Now my wife is even trickier. She has back problems yet does not seem to like the lethargic buzz that seems to go with the better pain meds. Funny too, the last month or so I have harvested more indicas than ever before in my growing career and damn have I felt lazy.
Good and medicated so I forget my exact point. Just had a few beers and fatties with Corso and Uncle P.
Oh, as far as strategy goes. My biggest problem is most patients want bang for the buck, and I get that. It hard to explain that the effects may be better on a strain that take a few more tokes. I understand when purchasing small amounts for personal consumption that a little goes a long ways is usually the most effective option. I have also found that some my favorites are not one hitter quitters (not that I have ever stopped at one). I think the problem here has to do with plant counts, yield per month, and local markets. There is little encouragement to grow out 12 week or more strains when everyone wants something for less and the laws mandate your confidence per square foot.
Yup, buzzed up in the day rambles!
