Hey. I agree with Kali 1/4 strength is still too much for seedlings. Maybe use 1/10 if you really wanna but if you dont use at all it might be better. The pointing up leaves are early signs of too much heat but i see it doesnt do that anymore so temps should be ok. Good luck

First of all, you DONT use nutes with Miracle Grow. MG has all the nutes you need within the soil already. If you add nutes to MG before the 90 days nute lifetime you're going to kill the plant.

Oh please.... let's not degenerate to Miracle Grow hating again. Miracle Grow is fantastic. I've used it from day one and it has performed flawlessly.

This is my Miracle Grow plant on Day 58 from sprout. No nutes or anything. Just MG Potting Soil, Perlite, and pH balanced water.

6-7 inches aint enough mate it needs to more like 3 feet they are babies be gentle with them

Where's my hate? I just spoke from prior documented experience. MG soil has burned one of my well-established African Basil plants after transplant and just straight watering. It's done the same to my cannabis plants, even established ones. I have found that their 'guaranteed analysis' on nutrient content in their soils can sometimes be way off. I paid the $50 to get some soil samples tested. MG wasn't the most disappointing, but it was still way higher than what was advertised. SuperSoil was the worst, actually having less than advertised, mostly due to the nitrogen-robbing properties of the wood it was based off of.

I just used some MG to transplant my palm, it's got some burnage as well, and the plant itself is easily half my height, well established. I thought the palm could handle it - nope! I had to flush like mad to get it to stop burning.

I recommend MG for all first time growers because its no fuss and it "just works". A first time grower wants results, not to have to learn the intricate chemical physiology of cannabis and which nutrients (N-P-K) to give in what amounts. Screw all that; get a 5g empty bucket, fill 3/4 with MG Potting Soil, 1/4 Perlite, mix, water, plant seed, watch amazing growth. Thats it! No nutrients or plant problems to worry about.

Old isn't likely as I always check the batch date. Contaminated, no, that would have shown up in the soil analysis.

YMMV but I've generally found MG soil to be too strong for most potted plant applications. Works great mixed into the earth, though, no doubts there. I've got some ornamental garlic and agapanthus in MG/earth and they're doing wonderfully.

So with this MG I shouldn't have to use nutes until later into flowering?

I'm going to start 12/12 light cycle in a few days.

With most MG soils you don't use nutes at all in most cases.

Kali is right. You don't need nutes at all (in most cases). The nutrients do start to wear out after 90 days so if you're growing outside on a 6 month cycle you will need to add ferts around month 3-4 but that depends a lot on the amount of rain, heat, and other environmental factors. Thats why for indoor grows, I highly recommend MG (mixed with Perlite) because its done before the ferts run out.

Well it has been 2 days and my plant hasn't changed at all... it's still pointing up.

On the plus side the one next to its leaves have unrolled and its growing very fast and healthy, but the other one is stunted and I dont know why the leaves wont go downnn.

I've lowered my light a few inches above, have fans blowing to keep temps down, and Idk what else to do.

The only other thing I can think of is your roots might be choking. That soil has good drainage, yes?

Yes water always flows into the drip tray when I water. Could it be strain? It's bagseed but perhaps it is in the genetics
