Ok an how would I go about raising it 3-4 weeks into flower it’s auto to…. Should I flush with say 6.5 water until that’s what comes out the bottom or is that a bad idea an also how do you stop it from dropping that low thanks for the reply :bigjoint:

Hi guys run into this can anyone shed any light I’m thinking calcium but don’t know whether it’s deficient or locked out run off ph 5.7-8 if that makes any difference
5.8 is good if your using bottled nutes. And could be Calcium, just hit it with a little Cal Mag if you have it. Just a little.

Yes I am using bottle nutrients an yes will do will grab some tomorrow.. I did check for bugs but have not found a thing my other plant is fine not showing this spotting but it is different strain so maybe this 1 just needs a bit more calcium … fingers crossed I hope it is

With soil and/or media, there's only two ways to feed (that I'm aware of). One is feeding the plant directly via bottled nutrients. The other is feeding the soil via dry amendments and organic matter. The soil then takes care of the plant for you. No measuring PPM and pH this and that. I grow feeding the soil. But everyone I know grows feeding the plant directly so I know and understand how to do both. My first grow was feeding with bottled nutes. I just bought into the philosophy of growing organic. Both have their pluses and minuses. To each their own kind of thing. The magic pH for bottled nutes is 5.8, the magic pH for growing soil is 6.5. Hope this helps explain a few things. And no....don't try to do both at the same time .

The media should be at that pH. It's important to get the pH of the media. Get that first. Or just water it till 5.8 comes out the other end. Coco media is perfect for this. Be careful not to waterlog your roots, let the media breath between waterings. They really like to breath at night so water in the mornings instead at night

Well my soil ph is definitely ok then run off earlier was 5.7-5.8 so I’m hoping my problem is just a squirt of cal mag lol thanks again mate your knowledge is literally priceless :hump::clap:

Lol…not all nutrients use the 5.8 ph there others that use ph 6.1 - 6.8 …there soil out there out of the bag that has 5.8 ph and others that have 6.2 -6.4 … of course you would take a nutrient that feeds at 5.8 and match with soil , like FF … I amend my soil after each grow and use nutrients too… and testing run off only tells you what happen before , a true test would be a slurry , then you know what ph and ppms are at that time…
