okay I am going with the vortex s-line 347 cfm... I am going to get a phresh filter at 550cfm or I can go with a 400 cfm filter.

Which filter is best to go with that fan?

Im using a brand called ushio for the 600 watt hps I'm going for hortilux next , my hood is a hydrofarm radiant 6" but I'm looking into a blockbuster or a raptor hood for better light spread. You can get quality with MH or T5 but HPS is known to give more weight
Lots of people are raving about how much frost they get under the 600W Horti Blue MH. Yield won't be quite as much as HPS of similar wattage.

Yeah I heard about those definitely would like to try I think it has something to do with how MH has more UV-B rays which help produce more trichomes

Again, if your going with phresh, i would get the 6x24. I stink that is the one rated 550cfm.
The smaller filter WILL work though;-)
But for 20 more dollars, i feel you get a filter that won't restrict flow as much, and should last longer, due to having more surface area.
