Why do cats lick plastic?

It sure is. Cats are awesome as hell. Honestly though i dont think their are many animals that cant be made into a pet, including many we eat. lol. it used to bug me thinking about how people eat cats and/or dogs but ya know to the hindu's cows are sacred and we eat the fuck out of them, so i cant blame the koreans.chinese/other asians for eating cats and dogs. i bet they taste pretty good but i dont know if i could get myself to eat it. its been awhile but i think i read this one province eats an estimated 10,000 cats a day.

I was thinking about this again the day before yesterday. Apparently:

Cats can have PICA?

I was wrapping christmas presents and unsurprisingly, my little fluffy was rolling on the paper and batting the tinsel... but he did not play with the plastic bag full of ribbon, he went straight in there and ate part of it. I couldn't stop him fast enough but it was only a little and he's fine. I just keep a closer eye on my plastic bags now.

Damn that a lot of cat's! Yuck. Sorry I couldn't eat a cat. My grandmother used to raise white bunnies, then kill them for supper. I was raised on a farm where that happened with the cows, chicken's, duck's, pig's, etc. But I couldn't eat any of the animal's we raised... And my mom never told my sister & I... Then one day my sister's favorite duck went missing, my dad said he flew off with his buddies to the lake to find a girl friend, cause he was a weird duck... he was always trying to hump the chickens. Anyway's my sister & I compliant about the taste of dinner that night, we said the chicken taste weird. My mom said it was a new recipe just eat it. Then after dinner, she screwed up... She asked my dad... Hey what should I do with these DUCK bones? You Should have hear my sister screaming bloody murder!!! She still torn up about it. 30 years later LOL

I dont know if i could forgive my parents if they did that either.

It has long been common for cats to be eaten in some parts of China and in some other Asian countries and it is estimated that in southern China's Guangdong province people eat 10,000 cats per day. Animal People estimates that 4 million cats are killed and consumed in Asia every year.

wow thats crazy 4 million. Sad. I love my cats, they sleep & play with my dogs. Why don't the people with rheumatism just have cats as pets, instead of blankets made out of their fur...doesn't make any sense. Poor fluffy!!!!

I had a cat that while you were painting a room would come and chew the tape off the woodwork/window frames. My cat now likes to chew cords which is a huge red flag!

If only my cat would be satisfied with simple plastic...but no...he has to go after my plants. Then he throws them up after consuming 2 or 3 fan leaves.

My cats love chewing on the christmas tree.

I love bubble wrap and packing peanuts. No reason the cats shouldn't have their own little quirks

I had a dog who was a compulsive blanket licker. Cats don't even have much saliva, count yourself lucky.

Not sure if it was just my cats, but any time you came out of a hot bath or shower and your skin was warm and moist, you couldn't keep em away. Just sit on your lap licking your hand. Cats have little no no saliva, just barbs, it scratches like hell when they lick your cheek

Yeah, my cat loves to clean my beard for me. It hurts right through the beard. And she also loooooves to rub up on my legs right after I get out of the shower. It's like a race to get my legs dry first so she doesn't get cat hair stuck all over me.

Ha, mine would continue the licking idea, so the race was to get dry before you started standing on a tail or a paw trying to dry off I cannot wait to get my next house, while i've a plan to be over the pond for a couple of years come febuary, i've already big plans formulating about this house Although one of the tricky bits to plan when thinking of all the animals i wish to keep around, is to not become too attached to them, the way i wish to live my life, there will be no vet on call, there gonna have to be a hardy group of motherfuckers, kinda like babe in the city. Plan still isn't quite right though but i plan for 5 cats 2 dogs. And then the rest is a different story. Otter!
