Insurance lobbyists!Or helmet laws? For that matter.
Or helmet laws? For that matter.
When I worked in Kentucky they had unusual helmet laws but they made sense. If you didn't have health insurance you had to wear a helmet. If you wanted to risk your health, go right ahead, just don't expect the state to pay for it. That was almost 20 years ago, I don't know what they are now.
My first time going to Daytona I couldn't wait to cross into florida and take my helmet off. I hopped on I-95 through Jacksonville, got off the the first exit and put my helmet back on. Scary. Took it back off on side streets though. F THE MAN!! I'M A REBEL!
Anyone here beside the village idiot wear a helmet as a kid riding bicycles? It's almost strange to see one without now. We should pass a law bubble wrapping our kids.

21 and you have the choice.
i was kind of thinking it had less to do with some insurance company conspiracy and more to protect responsible people like me from having to pay to keep irresponsible "freedom lovers" in a permanent vegetative state.
Why do you "have to" is the question you should be asking Meathead rather than blindly lapping the boots thrust under your snout.
Its 2nd nature for me to click the belt in the car , i lobbied with ABATE to repeal Michigans helmet law which was overturned but find i wear my helmet most of the time , if im on country 2 lane highways or surface streets i wear the skid lid , on the expressway it allways comes off .
Ive got good insurance with a $750,000 cap on single injuries or disease & at my age its enough to pay for my own care should i end up a onion .
Unclebuck will gladly be the first one in line to go into the concentration camps.... I mean re-education camp.
